It must have taken you bloody ages to get accross Turkey, its massive. I wonder if you have been to Russia yet. This looks like a conservative place where people probably aren't very friendly. It doesn't seem to have much of an arty feel to it. Its very pretty but the people seem very traditional and possibly a bit boring. A few years ago I went on a road trip through Turkey and ended up at Sianlurfa. Lots of "Chai ve Nargile" bars. (Tea and Water Pipe) They were great for meeting interesting people. Elsewhere you could pretty much be treated very rudely for not being Muslim. Its such a massive country, each area differs greatly.
