@RS-ls7mm4 жыл бұрын
@@ravenone6255 I guarantee you that any parking lot that can take this size of vehicle will cost way more than an apartment in any overcrowded city. Land goes for millions per acre. You would have to tear down existing buildings to do it, there is no open space. People tried to do this in LA and failed, they ended up having to park in very bad areas of the city far from work. Not worth it.
@valkasolidor67274 жыл бұрын
I think that actually we'll continue to see more tiny homes and alternate off the grid structures. The caveat is that municipalities will not accept long term lower revenues (like the rest of us must) and will seek new ways to impose taxes on small structures as well as balance the loss of utility revenues as many are able to go solar or otherwise. Cynical? No. Just old and experienced.
@CatNat19744 жыл бұрын
I think this might be the future. People are tired of paying extortionate prices for housing and monthly bills so people around the world are starting to sell their homes and buy busses, vans and sea containers to convert them in self sufficient tiny homes that are either completely or for the most part off grid. It's allows people to spend more time in enjoying life (especially in the mobile variety) and less at trying to make a living. Me and my husband own a 3 story home in the Netherlands and we might one day, when we have saved enough money, sell the house and opt for this solution! It would be awsome if the hydrogen engine was more affordable by that time so we would truly leave relatively no carbon footprint.

Usually when riding on the bus...I imagined keeping the center aisle, with a dining booth on either side at the front (just turn the front most seat around, replace the next two back with a table, and keep the fourth seat) then bunk beds behind that (bus would sleep 4 people) with curtains across each bunk and storage under the bottom one, then a bathroom across the back. I don't know why I never planned a kitchen...probably figured that if it was used for camping, the people in it could just eat at restaurants.

Wow!! This conversion is absolutely incredible!!! At first I was thinking that this attempt to convert an old school bus into an actual nice living space was futile however after watching these two creative people knew exactly what their doing and made this into a functional, spacious, comfortable, beautiful mobile home with every amenity possible! I’d even say that I’d live inside of this modern homey bus/trailer
