You do inspiring work, sir. I love your approach to pre-assembly, much like what I do. I have the kit from a part-series by Hatchette. I nearly finished the hull planking before I had to park it on a shelf. Your instalments are a great tutorial on building it easier and avoiding the pitfalls. I am waiting for life to slow down and I have time, to return to the build bench. Bravo!

The Hachette and the AMATI kit are the same , because AMATI has producte the Kit and Hachette made the distribution . This newly released AMATI Kit has some tiny improvements ( as from what I know ) and so, yes you can use my Videos in general as a Guideline .

wounderful job painting the forward superstructure but one thing that seems unclear due to the dark background is what color you painted the top of the funnel cap

@@davaoshipmodeller Thanks for the quick Reply. I was wondering because I painted it in the same tone as the trim at the bottom of the entire superstructure as seen in the Anatomy of the ships Book

@@Hello-zy1ol sorry for the delay, this is because of different Time Zones . Well I am not sure , but from the logic side, it would be not right to paint the Funnel Top in any Color , except black . I strongly believe that the German in WW2 gave a sh...t about pollution and emissions and with that what came out of that Funnel was quite dark, dirty and oily , so any PAINT would be covered within Hours after they started the Engines LOL. But as said , I am not sure what is right or wrong

Thank you very much , well I basically do NOT have any desire to weather the Model because #1 that would be the hack of a job, #2 my weathering skills are sooooo basic that I might ruin the Model

That's what I thought LOL . I will make an announcement in Part 16 , because Part 15 is already finished
