Very good hotel choice. I also stayed there overnight. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. I hope you included that in your package.. also hope that you experience roaming around in the night. It's really pretty coz the whole place is lighted up . The wifi i your room emanates from the TV so basically, no turning off of the TV if you want wifi the whole night.

@@solaraokiuri9351 we were billeted in another hotel which only had an overnight stay available so we roamed around and inquired at Hotel Luna. Luckily they had one room left so booked it right away for our 2nd night. It was around.P2500 at that time. We dont usually book ahead.

It was in 1572 when the first Spanish colonial settlement was established in Vigan. In 1595, the first diocese was established and its first bishop was named. More than four centuries later, this historic town was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Philippines. #CopyPaste😂🆒

That Acusar is not authentic ...it is a transplant. Vigan is the real deal , the real history not uprooted from somewhere else........my two cents

Acusar is a replica .....places like Vigan is authentic Uprooted from elsewhere ,that is Acusar

Why the hate? So what if its uprooted? still a piece of history consolidated on one place. Being curated and taken cared of by the new owner, with care and passion. Rather than to rot on other places. Just my two pennies worth

Las Casas is cool but I think it's by pre-booking or invite only?

It is not hate or whatsoever people with sense of history won’t even think about it. It is transporting a piece of New York elsewhere , that will elicite an out cry from practically everyone.....don’t you get it that why it is called HISTORY.....it happened or stood where it is. Hard to explain to people who doesn’t have it....comprende amigo

Yes, it’s like being time warped in Vigan when you travel back in time during the Spanish colonial period in the Philippines before 1900s. Ilocos is known for its Ilocos chicharon, a Filipino snack. If I’m there, I’d probably buy some handcrafted table mats, pillow cases, and other native home wares.👍 If you’re still up to it, visit the Windmills in Bangui, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. The giant Windmills are by the sea. You’ll get a fabulous video and photo op at sunrise or sunset by the sea.🌅

Vigan was originally a trading post before colonization. It's name got it from chinese Mei-an which means beautiful shore. Other name came from plant biga-a, a native plant found in ilocos. And for your information, vigan is combination of not only spanish but chinese and native influences.
