You should have gone inside the old building. There is an ancestral house in that building & showcases the way they lived in that era during the Spanish colonization. Lots of old Spanish influenced furniture and other old stuff in the house during the Spanish era.

Rizal Park (previously Lunita Park) next... but you have go there at before sunset to witness the grandeur of it, such as fabulous and amazing Lightings and sounds on it at night. Rizal Park or Lunita Park is the national park of the Philippines. A lot people spend time out there. If you go there i advice you to take a GRAB transport online.

Manila is the 2nd most devastated city after Warsaw Poland during WWII. Much of our Spanish Heritage buildings were completely destroyed in the war. What you see in Intramuros is just 10% of its former grandeur.

In as much as you want to be blunt about everything you see in the surroundings, expect blunt reactions in return. Fair enough? Visiting Intramuros without actually exploring it? That is a misinformed travel blog. There are crews designated to pick up trash in ALL fastfood outlets and restaurants in the country. Why? Because that is our standard practice. All establishments have security guards who also open doors, provide information, and assist customers. Why? Because that's our way. Dude, the city is one of the largest metropolis and oldest cities in the world, making it difficult to make general assumptions.
