Lime is uncommon in the Philippines. Dalandan is closer to mandarin oranges. Chicharron or crispy pork skin is Spanish in origin is a common snack amongst former Spanish colonies.

Ube is Ube it is not Taro. We call Taro, Gabi which is the same as Talas

@@allanlubisUbe is a type of yam not potato. Purple yam are often used as substitute but they have different flavour profile. Ube is ube even its international name stays the same.
