I don’t think Grand Indonesia is the biggest mall in Jkt. There still have Mall Taman Anggrek, Central Park & New Soho ( they are connected). Pondok Indah Mall 1,2,3. In south Jakarta. Mall Kelapa Gading 1,2,3,4,5 in North Jakarta., etc

yeah, but the others are “Just a suburbia malls”. They offer great ambience to walk around, but to shop?? Hmm, still cannot match Grand Indonesia… The real upscale malls would be Plaza Indonesia, Grand Indonesia, Plaza Senayan, Senayan City, and Pacific Place. Grand Indonesia offer the most complete package though, upscale and midscale.

MTA is empty now. CP mostly to hang out, and relax. Pondok Indah mall is (or are) not that big. MKG is big, but extremely crowded. Especially on the weekend.

I think at Jakarta you can visit more than 100 big malls. It's not enough in a week to go around the malls there.

Many shopping malls, private/government office buildings, restaurants/cafes etc, not just only in Indonesia, forbid using DSLR/professional camera, and they put sign for that in the entrance... The reasons is to keep the intellectual copyright of the interior/building design, securities, visitor's privacy/comfortable and other reason, but still we can use mobile phone camera's... It's better we follow their rules for everyone's convenience... But still those places worth to visit and enjoy...

Mount Bromo is very amazing. But for the sunrise at 5:20 am you can reach at the top of Pananjakan 1 and if the weather is good you can see the sunrise clearly. And after that you go directly to the seasands,(6000 ha), the whispering sands, savannah fields and the last the Teletubbies Hills. So amazing for you. At least you can also go to the Madakaripura waterfall. It took about 45 minutes from Bromo.

sometimes in a few malls the security ask you to not recorded but not because prohibited but because they think you are journalist,, so just tell them that you are foreign youtuber not journalist so I recommend you to say in Bahasa Indonesia to break a langguage barier that is "Saya KZbinr Asing Bukan Wartawan" means "I am foreign youtuber not journalist" (note: security don't want the journalist to record the violation of health protocol inside of the mall like crowded or something in order the mall doesn't get closing sanction from governor but don't worry both of you are okay because you are away from the local news). happy weekend bianca and dany :)
