@hisrighthandsaves not really bama just didnt execute down the stretch. Lol It could have been 35-42 to 7 at half time. Not only that bama missed on a few opportunities to extend drives in the 2nd half & uga was playing all 4 downs of the 2nd half. Between 3rd & 4th down uga had 22 attempts at a 1st down. Most of those I believe were in the 2nd half as they were treating 3rd down like 2nd & 4th like 3rd. So it makes harder on the defense when your offense isn't sustaining drives & eating clock. It wasn't all GA in the 2nd half bama just missed some opportunities like I said, Bama also had GA stopped twice on 4th downs neither counted one due to TO from bama & the other from a penalty. Had bama had those 2 stops the game looks alot different.

That would make sense if #2 was the only threat but he’s not. Bama has a great receiving core and if you double #2 it’s gonna make it a lot easier for the others to get open or open up the middle of the field more for Milroe to take off.

Play Calling was bad in the second half No doubt. What is the Alabama fan at halftime the score was 30-7. I told my friend I said Alabama will need 14 to 17 more points to win this game. Georgia and Alabama are the same in the sense that they never quit. Alabama got a little too vanilla in the second half in Georgia was going for it no matter what on 4th down they did it 3 times inside the 40. Alabama's defense was getting gassed because they was on the field way too much in the second half. one 4th down stop on that side of the field in the game is over. They were five for five for five on 4th down. And the other 3/4 Downs they had was to pass interference calls and a holding call. They was in desperation mode. And to their credit they made all those fourth downs and it was a heck of a game.

Jalen Milrose is a dynamic player, but he and others got so amped up and were celebrating on the sidelines so much in the first half. I think that sucked so much energy from him and the other players that they were just gassed in the second half and had very little energy. This should be a lesson learned going forward. There is always 2 halves in the game. Try to play at an even keel in both halves. Milrose control your emotions, you are the QB, the leader. Also learn how to bleed the clock more when you are ahead at the end.

Play calling and clock management in the 2nd half was terrible by Bama coaches. Running hurry up offense on three drives up by 3 scores. Lesson learned by these coaches.

Alabama vs Georgia in 2024 was by far the highest profiled marquee College Football matchup to air on ABC since the 2016 edition of the Michigan-Ohio State (which was the last time that game aired on ABC and will be the last time for a while with ABC/ESPN not having anything to do with the current B1G TV Rights Deal). Bama vs UGA in 2024 was being built for almost a full calendar year, and (at least in the 2nd half) it delivered.

O.k. folk's , first & FOREMOST Paul maintains his crown as the best predictator in the sec. . My hats off to him & congrats.. with that said I will have to ask him what he thinks & predicts about TX. Longhorns & their chances in the s.e.c. & what he has to say also. Personally before I even try to comment about TX. , I think also that if MELROSE continues to play at the level he is currently playing at with his abilities & experience BAMA could go undefeated in the s.e.c. in regular season games. But the big question is to me is will they win the S.E.C. CHAMPIONSHIP game? At this point they still have a couple of games away that will determine if they are going to be not only the S.E.C. champion but more importantly a National champion contender ' cause there is still ALOT football to be played yet to determine THE new college football playoff format & who' s going to ultimately be in the final 4 let alone the final game. Imagine what Kiffin could do with Florida's resources. Yes, he's done well with Ole Miss but Ole Miss doesn't have the resources to win 10+ games every year. Instead they will have to build to that kind of season and when their seniors and/or star players graduate, start over again. Not so at Florida. Kiffin loves a challenge ... most high end coaches do ... if the payoff is great enough. I expect Kiffin at Florida next year.
