AJ McCarron gave Alabama fans some of the best memories we will ever experience. I remember being at the Iron Bowl his first year starting when he had Darius Hanks and Marquis Maze and I will never forget it. It was one of the best times of my life. That being said if the NFL isn’t going to give him an actual shot I think the University of Alabama should offer him a QB coaching job cause lord knows they need an actual QB coach. I know he’s currently playing in the UFL but there is no doubt in my mind that he would be phenomenal at it and idk anyone else better for the job than the guy who’s been there and I don’t just mean played there. I watched this man get screamed at and spanked by Nick Saban while up like 30 points he knows what it takes to not just win but to dominate and that is the standard. It’s not like he was bad either he had over 9,000 career yards, 77 TDs, and a 68.6 completion percentage. Went back to back to as a starter and I think he was on the team as a backup when they won in 09. I think it’s worth a consideration at least.

UK/Bama fan, I know, I know...During AJ's time, after his first year, never worried about Bama winning or providing that chance. The kid was just amazing, knew exactly what to call/adjust, and knew where to put the ball. All the talent those teams had was just flat dirty, but this young man knew how to use it and when...and to be fair, I've been a fan since the Bear ran the wishbone and Ben Ogilvie was running wild.

I'll never forget going to the Bama-Florida game in G'ville I think AJ's junior year and Bama blew them out. But what I remember most about that game was I think in the second half AJ started acting out a little, like celebrating after big plays and such, and Saban was livid with him. I think that was a turning point where Saban wasn't going to be able to keep bringing in ballers and expect them to just be stoic every play, every game, every season. I credit AJ for breaking the seal on that
