All that huge price is because of that build quality. Software wise it's the same as previous. So I'm not spending that much amount on build quality. I'm also pretty doubtful about the accuracy of the sensors

The accuracy is still be tested. I have been using GPS for nearly seven hours straight, with AOD & raise to wake enabled, slept it last night, and battler is at 47% 👍🏻

I've really liked mine. I've had it for a little over a week. I'm pretty intensive with it and have heart rate at yever minute, so I've had to charge it twice. (I'm charging it at like 30%, just throwing it on when I go to the. shower)

I get the notification of a phone call, and then yes, I need to grab my smartphone. It does have a speaker, kinda a, but not a loud enough speaker for a Bluetooth phone call, sorry. Perhaps, the Falcon 2.0 will come with true phone functionality. If you are determined to have that phone call functionality, yeah... I would recommend the following: 1. Apple Watch Ultra (it ships with LTE) 2. Samsung Galaxy Watch3 LTE, Watch4 LTE, or the Watch5 Pro with LTE All of other smartwatches I have tried that claim to have "phone call features" are not worth a human's time.

These are the heart rate settings: 1 minute 5 minute interval checks 10 min. 30 min. Off - this could save some battery life if you only checked your HR stats manually now and again. I tried the 5 minute setting for about two days and the battery life was not extended that much.

Thank you Rando. I am just wrapping up Day Two with the Falcon and I can say that the changes are more on the outside than with the software or internal hardware. The battery life is fantastic. I spend the day at an amusement park here in Utah called, Lagoon, and tracked the entire day as a walking workout using GPS, and doing laps every time we waiting in line at a ride. I wore the Amazfit Falcon on my left wrist and the Garmin Venu 2 Plus, on my right. The battery life of the Falcon is only down to 38% after 12 hours of AOD and a little over 8 hours of GPS usage - not too shabby at tall. I need to dive into the workout records and do math. It is now 22:19 Mountain Time, too late for that, going to bed. I plan to have another video either on Sunday or Monday morning regarding some accuracy tests for the Falcon compared to Apple & Garmin.

Just a T-Rex 2,with premium build quality.Titanium body and sapphire glass,the sensors are the same as the simple T-Rex 2, plus the ability to pair,an external heart rate belt.For that kind of money,Garmin fenix 7 or the forerunner 955 for me are better options!

The only differences I am seeing thus far are the following: 1. sapphire glass screen 2. titanium case 3. longer battery life 4. coaching 5. premium sleep options for a monthly subscription fee 6. improved Heart-Rate tracking 7. GPS signal is acquired more quickly, and GPS tracking appears to be slightly more accurate 8. a few new watches faces 9. different watchband And that is about it. So, yes, it is more like an Amazfit T-Rex version 2.700339239 with a sapphire glass and a watch case & band.

Sorry, Giva, there is a temperature gage in terms of barometric pressure, but there is not body temperature readings as of yet. And without the Internet, nope, I cannot check the weather. I have not been on any long hikes or camping trips, so I don't know how accurate the barometric pressure sensors are on the Falcon. I hope to compare them soon to the storm sensors on a Garmin watch and using my smartphone.

I'll take a gamble... 1. there is no microphone on the Amazfit Falcon 2. there is no Assistant either, no Google, Bixby, Siri, or Alexa 3. there is no integration with the smartphone, i.e., if the smartphone is placed into DND (do-not disturb) mode the watch does not go into DND and vice versa 4. there is a tiny, small, minute amount of app within the Amazfit Store 5. Spotify doesn't function on the Falcon and music controls are wonky 6. yes, there is some A.I., The Amazfit Falcon debuts the new AI-powered Zepp Coach™, I going to use that feature this weekend

Hi Peter, I bought a Amazfit Ultra but have problems to connect any speed or cadence sensors to it. Only an external BT Garmin will be found in BT settings. Do you know if any Amazfit (e.g. Falcon) is able to connect with bicycle sensors like a Garmin watch? Regards and thanks for your effort for such kind of videos... really helpful. Jog

I have the Amazfit Falcon and have had many issues connecting external Bluetooth gadgets. The Bluetooth hardware that Amazfit makes their watches with is not the great of quality. I tried to use the heart-rate broadcasting from an Amazfit T-Rex 2 and the Falcon to my indoor row machine and both Amazfit wearables failed. I tried a $200 Garmin watch and it connected 97% of the time. I feel sad that your new ULTRA is not ultra enough and I recommend returning it for a different watch to see if that fixed the issues.

You are welcome and hello to the lovely country of Germany! On any given day, yeah, I would take a $150 Garmin watch over anything Amazfit is selling in the year 2023. Garmin wearables are more expensive than most Amazfit watches; however, Garmin gives you, and me, the consumers the following: 1. a more refined watch 2. better customer support 3. decades of watch making experience 4. more refined workout tracking 5. better workout feedback 6. better workout coaching 7. better built watches 8. a far better ecosystem 9. Garmin watches have a longer shelf-life & stronger durability; though, the new Falcon is the right approach, just not worth $500.00

Yeah, basically, the Amazfit Falcon has a more premium design with the fancier watch case/bezel, they added a sapphire screen, took away the ugly logo and name plate, moved the Amazfit logo the side, and the buttons feel slightly different. I would say the buttons are tad higher quality. As for the functionality and features of the Falcon, well... they appear to be nearly identical to the Amazfit T-Rex 2.

Thank you for the comment in Russian & according to Google you asked, "the owners, tell me how long they hold a charge, how often do they need to be put on charge, from your experience?" This Amazfit Falcon easily lasted me two weeks using the tilt-wake screen on feature. With AOD (always-on display), the watch battery still lasted a solid three to five today. Battery life gets used a lot by: 1. GPS workouts 2. notifications and buzzed from the connected smartphone alerts 3. using the watch and having the screen on 4. screen-brightness settings I think even with high usage, several GPS workouts, and truly using the Amazfit Falcon, yes, it should last you a sold five days.

I don't see why not. I get notifications for my text messages and Facebook Messenger. You can choose the apps you want notifications from inside the ZEPP app. I plan to demonstrate this on my next Amazfit Falcon video for you and a few 1,000 other folks that probably have the same question.

Nope, you can see the call coming in and answer or decline the call, but you would need to actually talk on the connected smartphone. Phones calls cannot be communicated directly through the watch for it lacks an LTE chip and a phone #
