There's something that should help with the sleep and HR tracking: Try shaving your arm hair on the place they sensors sit next to your skin. That did wonders for me.

Can you run a Timer and still have a look at the notifications at the same time? It didn't worked with the first version of the GTR.

Wow Lim I actually pulled the trigger on the original GTR after seeing your GTS2 battery test video. I got it on sale off Amazon for $111 in the US. Hope to get tomorrow. I held hope for the GTR2 but after seeing the price drop, battery differences and which had better software stability made me decide on the GTR1. Thanks. Lim more of a suggestion, but you could you do a video showing the GTR1 and GTR2 side by side?

Hi, I have problems on the gtr2 with the weather app and widget. I have 4g and wifi always on , on my xiaomi phone, and I have tried both choosing an exact city, and getting the location by gps. The weather refreshes badly, and so it is not reliable. I have to look on the mobile phone app for the correct weather. Did you have this problem? Any tips?

@@mibnfa magic 2 has no wi-fi connection, but the battery lasts 7 days with the use of GPS every day. the charge is less than 1.5 hr, huawei / honor products have a more accurate sleep and heart rate marker given by Xiaomi.

The speakers are not that loud, considering I will normally use my watch to attend call in a public place only. Could you compare the loudness with an Apple Watch. The video gives a great understanding though

Help guys. I just bought this watch. For some reason it is not tracking my heart rate when i place it on automatic heart rate detection in zepp. When i am sleeping and i use the amazfit bip i can see a heart rate tracking throughout my entire sleep. With the gtr 2 i see sleep info but no heart rate graph to accompany it. As a result it is not giving a resting hear rate.The only time a get a hear rate is if a manually measure my hear rate with the widget. Is there a way to turn active continuous hear rate detection on the watch itself. I am ready to give away this watch right not cause it is behaving really shitty. When i am doing an activity it does not turn on continuous tracking even though i turn on the setting in zepp.

Actually considering he does it in an untreated room, a dynamic mic would instantly solve all the noise problems. Condenser mics are only for fully treated rooms.

Hey Lim, even with the audio you currently have, you should put it through post-processing! Just removing the background noise would help the quality of your audio a lot. Audacity has this functionality for free!

Or.... you can try Dynamic Mic too..if the noise came from Road or Room.. try PodMic or Dynamic mic others.🙂 , condensers are too sensitive

im using the GRT (v1) and im kinda unsure about the advertised battery life, as per Amazfit, it can go up to 76days basic watch mode..? hmmm mine only lasted 19days.. i need to explore more whats going on with my watch.. maybe because of the watchface i installed..? i switched back to the stock watchface and we'll see how it goes.. im on my 4th day now and 75%.. i dont think it will last long.. lol :D it got worse i guess.. hahaha

I think that your pour battery time on GTS 2 and GTR 2 is due to always on display. If you'll turn off it, you'll get normally battery life.

The whole idea of the test is to use all features that most would. In my case, the AOD is one of the main features I require for a smartwatch and I schedule it from 8AM-10PM.

I totally agree that an Always On Display is a must have. Just being able to glance at the watch instead of pushing buttons or making awkward gestures is so underrated. However that leads to my main gripe about amoled displays. They consume power and they are prone to burn in. Sure the rate rate that watches advance these days burn in might not be an issue but none the less. And they don't display all the info. I'd much rather have a transflective display which can show all the info all the time. Or in the event that battery technology suddenly makes a massive jump then heck even an LCD is imho better than amoled. Amoled is for movies - LCD for (mostly) static info.

@@LimReviews my GTR has never been able to deliver a full activity track ( start to end ), if i'm lucky to even catch a signal i start the activity and bam a few minutes later it states "GPS signal lost" and this is a forever issue, i have tested extensively and found all it's fitness features massively inaccurate, so i would say if you're into sports or activities tracking look elsewhere altogether as Amazfit's lineup will disappoint massively. So seeing they still released their second iteration with the same issues i consider people should really tax such companies and not buy their crap.

I like this watch, just bought yesterday. But the only thing I hate is GPS IS NOT WORKING AT ALL. I mean you have to live a desert to get a clean and fast signal.
