I don't get the point of GTS 2 mini and than we have GTS2E? Around 130-40$ are the GTS2 and GTR2, mini is around 100$ and where this two will sit? On top of that you have Bip U Pro which is basically same like the GTS2 mini except for the looks. Instead of saturating the market with 1001 watch they could try and build one real 100% smartwatch which won't cost as much as Apple or Garmin or Fitbit.

Maybe NFC paying but where I live that is not much of an option from our banks, just some of them work with Garmin and that is it. Nothing else.

Good, honest review. Can't argue with anything you said. Just got the GTR 2E myself and it's a very good no-frills smartwatch. The display is great at this price. Exactly what I'm looking for. Might upgrade later but I have no complaints about this watch.

Hey Kelvin, global version is basically the English version. There's only 2 versions for all Amazfit smartwatches. Either Global/English OR China version. Hope that helps!

@@1PX Yes I could recommend because after using it for 9 months Haven't faced any major issues . updates and everything is good Also a very good battery backup on heavy usage I get 1 week of battery backup and with powersaving mode I get above 2 weeks of backup. I have GTR 2e. But it lacks (gts2e also) Bt calling feature and music storage which is available on GTR2 and GTS2. In gtr2e we can only cut the call or silent it. So its your choice.

i dont think so, cs the watch is not measuring s02 all the time unlike heart rate. it measures only when you wanna check and turn on the o2 measuring function and then give you a single reading. so you wont likely know if you had decrease o2 level during your sleep.

Correction: Bluetooth is required for the calling feature. Once connected, you can answer calls on your watch. For the music upload, the WIFI is already pretty quick. About 10-15 seconds per song.

I have seen reports that there are some GPS issues with the GTS2 and GTR2. I believe the E versions have a plastic case. If that is true, is there an improvement in the GPS performance? (The same goes for Bluetooth).

Wow that is pretty cool. Amazfit allows us to have the option to choose a device with features that I don't need. Wifi? No need if connected to my phone. Storage? I'd normally stream music from my phone, I'd never play music out loud from my watch. Phone calls on the watch? I don't want others hearing my conversation. I think this is a good move to let others save some money by giving the option to have the same quality watch with some featues that we may not need. This is a good move Amazfit!

You can't answer calls with 2e, just get notifications I think. I agree with swapping unused functions for more battery life, but sensors must be accurate, if they are not, these watches are just useless.

Looks very promising! About the GTR 2 (and 2e), i saw your one week review where you reported problems with the GPS tracking and the sleep tracking (and SP02). Are these problems still there? Was there any update? Because it really kept me from getting it. And now I see the 2e, which on paper looks even more appealing (i wouldn't use calls and music anyway, and the added battery life is great (if it will be available in Europe, which at the moment doesn't seem like it is..)), but if those problems you reported are there, then it's not really worth it...

@@budisoemantri2303 no. I decided to get the mi band 6 instead. Uses GPS of the phone so it's perfect, but it has problems with the heart sensor sometimes. I saw that it's more accurate (or at least it shows believable data) when it is right on the wrist. When I wore it above the wrist as per the instructions, it showed me 178bpm when walking when I wasn't even walking fast and breathing normally, and this lasted for 45 minutes...

Both equally bad. I'm not sure what it's trying to measure. My room air conditioning is turned on at full blast but I get 33 degrees Celcius. It's neither correct for my room temp/body temp.

I would want to turn off calls function on gts 2, but then i do not receive calls notifications at all.... I found that actually shutting off that function helps preserve a bit of battery, but not getting calls notifications isn't an option aswell, hope they fix that with software update.

Of course the Pro as it comes with GPS. But if you don't do any running/exercise, save yourself a couple of bucks and get the non-pro version.

How do you know that it wasnt your non contact thermometer that was inaccurate and not the watch?

These thermometers are more accurate for body temperature, while the passive sensor on the watch only measures the temp at the surface (=exterior of the body, colder than inside). With a normal thermometer you need to measure inside the mouth or under the arm for a while)
