Hi I’m using MI Watch color, for around 2 months now and I would like to share my experience with this watch: I will mention only bad things. The App is very poor, considering all the hardware possibilities that this watch has in it. Plenty space to improve the app and the stats of workouts. There is no option to initiate/to start manually from watch or from app the HR monitoring or Stress etc. No option to customize widget in watch faces. Alexa is not working in my region, Balkans. Auto detect mode - doesn’t work. No option to connect with other accounts such as Strava, Google fit etc. Sleep tracking not so accurate. In some sports activities like in swimming HR sensor doesn’t measure at all. You cannot connect with wireless headphones. Battery life 6-8 days not any more.

I'm going with Mi Watch. The GTR GPS is not very accurate regarding to others reviews. Better OS and better GPS on mi watch. The only good stuff on GTR is the better material.

Honestly I feel like it's much smoother. It doesn't really stutter like the GTR2. Some frame drops from time to time but overall it's very smooth

One major difference is the sleep tracking. Mi watch sleep tracking working only for night sleeps (21:00-09:00). I work nights shifts so I can't buy it. Also Mi watch works with Mi Wear app and doesn't sync with my Mi Body Composition Scale 2. Very very disappointed. I don't care if Mi watch is from other manufacturer and isn't Huami. Mi watch, mi band, mi scale all have Mi Logo. If you have the same logo you must combine them all at the same ecosystem.

it is more logical to compare Mi Watch with amazfit gtr/s 2e because the same price and+- same features. regular gtr(s) 2 has microphone and ability to answers call and listen music, but catastrophic bad battery life. 2e - has excellent battery about 20 days and mi watch - 16 days + -

They’re both more or less similar but in terms of lock-on speed, the Mi Watch locks on to GPS quicker.

It seems Mi Watch Global now comes with Alexa voice assistant (so it does have a mic, but no speaker). Saw it demonstrated in another walkthrough. Other difference I noticed is Mi Watch comes with a remote shutter for the phone's camera. Also I believe the GTR2's screen glass is more hardened than the Mi's (which is 'only' corning glass gorilla 3)

That's in a diff price range. GT2 might actually be better than GTR2, but for call receiving and music playback on the watch itself, only GTR2 has that feature.

We have the Mi watch. It usually tracks naps but not REM stage in naps. I think the GTR does the same. I came here hoping to get a rundown of the differences in the quality and measurement of sleep, energy, and health metrics. I am thinking about getting the GTR 2 or 2e for that reason but want more info.

Hey Hakimi! The Mi Watch supports AOD but only with a limited number of faces. It doesn’t look anywhere near as nice or cool as the ones on the GTR2.
