I liked how you tried to remove the "T-Rex" gold logo :) I was about to paint over my T-Rex 2, but then I ended up returning it for the heart rate kept jumping 20 or 30 beats per minute.

I hate the Trex especially because it faces you so always seeing it. I have some black nail polish on the way so will see how well that works to cover up. Mine seems to be ok compared to fenix 7 but I primarily do weights so most wrist stuff is hard to track. I haven't taken the Trex cycling yet to see how it does w that. On Elliptical seems on par w/ my fenix 7

I have the black Trex 2, black sharpie took care of the white logo and metalic sharpie took care of the red amazfit logo. Just fill in and wipe surafce with alcohol wipe. Still there but does not stand out

I used adapter from my Gshock however post making this vid there are now adapters made to do what I did. The strap is from my Garmin Fenix watch, its a "22MM quick fit" strap.

You can also use a Torx T6 bit, just make sure to have a firm grip, as to not damage the screws.

I have an issue with the strap of my T-REX2 and I need to replace it. Watching your video it seems it is possible, despite of other sources claiming it cannot be replaced. I was just wondering which tool you use or how do you remove the strap in the first place?

I really don't find the branding to be a problem, but I know other people do. What grates on me is that there was absolutely no reason other than $$$ to make the bands so difficult to change.

Having recently lost an Amazfit GTR2e while surfing (the leg-rope got caught under the watch-face and simple ripped the watch off the band and my wrist as it stretched), I'd say there's plenty of good reason for the notch to be there to support the band and make it increasingly difficult for it to come out in high-stress situations. I've since bought a Trex-2. Seeing the way it's designed/built, I really don't see how the same thing that happened to the GTR2e could ever happen on the Trex-2. It might work for you to modify it so you can use bands not intended for the Trex-2, but for me, that'd be purely cosmetic at the expense of one of the watches best features, it's ruggedness. "Form before function" I say. In my case, I'm quite happy to keep the standard bracelet for now and switch to an "designed for Trex-2" band one once the need arises (there are currently plenty of options on Amazon selling at pretty reasonable prices)

You made the T. rex text more noticeable by scratching it. Could of just taken some enamel paint with a fine tip brush and it would of filled the letters in by it’s self. SMH.
