The only problem i had with my first generation t-rex is, it’s still functioning well. For a non pro athlete like me, it is more than enough. For those who are still confuse to get which one in the video, both of them are good. Just choose the one that is suitable to your budget.

I use the T rex pro as a replacement for my old watch and despite of beeing not a hardcore user, the batterylife is not just in reach of 18 days. I do not use the always on display and its not bright as the sun when its on... I come to 5 days maximum with the T Rex Pro. Before that I had an adorable Samsung Galaxy Watch 46mm on my wrist every day that had more batterylife for the first two years and sadfully started to fade in year 3... but still works. It could be mentioned that the T Rex pro has no maps and no navigation option on board, because in the video it looks like it has.

@@Asuma492 My TRex lasts 5 days without exercise, only basic functions working on that watch. And I am happy with that, 5 days are enough. Charging every day is strange and the batterylife lead my way away from buying a newer galaxy watch. The first gereration Galaxy watch was obviously a little bit different inside and that made it adorable. For me not understandable why the made this product worse. The not very precise description of the properties of the T Rex watches and some misleading KZbin videos of reviews where the KZbinrs obviously had NO clue how and how long these watches really work made me writing comments. And its true, only the half of what they promise is enough. The TRex is so well manufactured as well, so nice there is nothing to be made wrong about it. Viele Grüße🙋‍♀

I tested both the Trex Pro and the Trex 2. The Trex 2 has big improvements in my case. The larger battery and upgraded notifications much better. I thought the step counter worked better than the Pro, still not super accurate but atleast it will reset when you sleep. Bigest plus for me was the vibration, while I don't think it's much stronger then the pro, even on the strong setting BUT you can change the length of the vibration or even design different patterns. I use this watch mostly for notifications, If I wanted a sport watch I'd probably get a Garmin. I have a black watch, I colored in the White T-Rex logo with a sharp tip black sharpie then wiped surface with an alcohol wipe (looks great) used silver sharpie on the red Amazfit logo on the side. I just thought the logo looks kind of childish, T-rex I mean come on Dinasours are for kids. Lose the hypen and call it Trex. Over all for 189.00 it's awesome. I alos tested the samung series 4 and 5. Did'nt like having to charge every day. Nice but come on, T-rex 2 will go for more then a week on a single charge

T Rex 2 is marketed and known for it’s competitive features when compared to a Garmin for outdoor activity (GPS tracking, etc). Why do you think Garmin is better when they are minimum twice as much and for the money the Amazfit offers way more features? Compared to Instinct 2, this watch looks far better.

I recently bought the Pro since my waterproof fitbit got wet and died. I almost went for the T-Rex 2 but I didn't like the T-Rex logo on the watch and the Amazfit logo on the side. What were they thinking? It looks silly IMO. I couldn't see spending another $70 for some slight functional upgrades and not liking the look of the watch.

The pro is a superb watch. I use mine every day outside working as a landscaper and gardener and it takes a heavy beating every day and holds up brilliantly. Lightweight, waterproof and more than enough functionality for me. The pro 2 with the logo on side is trying too hard and definitely not worth it for the price difference. Who needs a 100 different sports on a watch really. Better watch faces and design would be much more valuable for a already good watch. If i wanted more functionality i would probably look somewhere else at that price point. Very happy with the pro though.

I can't say that both watch models are buggy, they are both smooth in user interface, but maybe Amazfit T-Rex 2 will be a bit better.

I have the T red pro and I don't think there is enough of an up grade to make the change I also have the Neo and the GET pro 3, they are all brilliant watches,ditched Samsung and found the battery life was shocking so rendered useless.

Is this capable of GPS tracking on Google maps satellite view like the Casio Wsd F20/30 does/did? This feature was great on the Casio and it seems nobody else can do it? Great for trekking in the forest with obstacles you want to avoid and see with the detail of satellite mode like on Google Earth/maps.

I have the t rex pro, on an aesthetic level I see it more military than the Trex 2 that seems more 'tending to sports. As far as I'm concerned I would recommend the Trex Pro, although in terms of telphonic section and resolution it seems superior to the Trex 2

I picked one up last week for 179 dollars, not a bad deal. No instructions come with the watch, so you're on your own learning the intricacies. Also, the battery like is way less than 24 days, more life 3 days if actually using any of the apps. .

Thanks for your opinion and a little experience of use. It is possible that if the watch is used with GPS always on, then it will be discharged quickly. I also failed to achieve 24 days, most likely it is in power saving mode. Have a nice day!

Love the look of these watches. They destroy the Apple Watch including the ultra. Unfortunately health tracking accuracy is extremely weak, sub 30%.whereas Apple is 98%. This could be remedied if the Trex could connect to an HR strap but no. So I’ll probably go with Apple or the 1st version of trex toy because it still looks cool and its $60.

Good looking watch but what about the accuracy and the response time to the changes? I really like Amazfit T-Rex 2 design and I may buy it for camping and hiking but for my daily use and exercises I decided to go for Huawei watch GT runner it even better than some of Garmin watches in heart rate monitoring

Agreed. The Apple Watch SE 7 8 Ultra are all as accurate as a HR strap. Most other health tracking watches including Garmin are sub 50% accuracy making them worthless for health tracking.

2 critical drawbacks. 1 can't connect external Bluetooth cadence /speed sensor as bike meter 2. can't act as individual heart rate monitor for bike meter. Pretty much useless for road biking

I bought a samsung active watch 2 about 2 years ago and did not get to use it as much because of the pandemic, flash forward to a couple of months ago when I started exercising again so I used the fitness features of it. Then after a few weeks it just stopped charging for some unknown reason thats why Im looking into rugged smart watches and watching this got me a little confused, is the amazefit trex 2 the more updated and better version overall or is it the pro.

T-Rex is the original, T-Rex Pro is the upgraded version of the T-Rex original, and T-Rex 2 is the 2nd (newest) edition of the watch. T-Rex --> T-Rex Pro --> T-Rex 2

Gorilla Glass is by itself a tempered glass which is used on watches.The tempered glass is very reliable as it protect the whole phone experience without worrying about your watche screen and internal damage due to any sort of dropping and tempered glass is very useful in today modern times where there are so risk and chances of watche getting damaged

I bought an amazfit t rex 2 watch. The biggest disappointment ever! By open see swimming, nothing works probably. The distance (even if I swim at the same spot, after 3 minutes it shows 500 m) and heart rate (by swimming slow it shows a heart rate over 180, while my old Garmin shows 107) ! I informed Amazfit! And the company doesn’t care solving the problem! People stay away from it!
