Great review and really helpful. I have used several different smartwatch/health trackers and I have found that to me the app is as important as the device. This review demonstrated that the Zepp app is data deep, but summarized well for day to day tracking and health maintenance. This review sold me on Amazfit products and the ZEPP app. I just wish I was as active as Roberto.

There’s so much I like about this App and first time in my life I’ve worn a watch or fitness tracker. But it’s weight and body score sections are driving me crazy and I’m really questioning the accuracy of the scale (not the weight itself, but the other items it claims to be able to calculate). There’s no way my ideal weight is 17kg less than I am now. 5kg sure, but I’d be a walking skeleton at 17kg less! And idea how the body score works? Frowny face is really pissing me off!

I know this is from a year ago, but I noticed that as well after I downloaded it today. From what I can tell it's based on the United States BMI chart system (uses weight and height to guesstimate body fat %) - which I honestly don't think is very accurate. It's saying that I'm obese now and I'd have to lose over 25 lb just to be barely in the overweight range - while I think I qualify as overweight now (which is why I want to lose some weight), I am in no way obese! My original goal was to lose 20 lb to be a little heavy but healthy, and another 10 to 15 lb after to be my ideal weight. It's saying I have to lose 60 or more pounds just to be barely in the "healthy" range. A decade ago I was a teenager with a little bit more height to grow, no curves to speak of, and only very slightly chubby (being non athletic, and having an average metabolism). And it's saying I have to weigh 10lbs less than I was then to be healthy now (despite being 2 inches taller and having curves now)... Wish there was a way to hide that scale, is all I'm saying.

Hi, what are your specific sleep settings in the app and in the watch, I have been using the watch for a couple weeks and its nos detecting automatically when I fall asleep, so the AOD is always on, even when it should turn off automatically when detecting sleep mode. Hope you can help me, thanks.

I bought Amazfit GTR 3. I regretted buying Amazfit watch because the Zepp app cannot sync well with IOS Health (or Healthy 365 app). It does not capture my workouts and fail to generate the required MVPA data. I am now exploring Apple Watch or Garmin to replace the Amazfit watch.

I am use Amazfit GTR 4 with of course, Zepp App. Suddenly, (until 2 days everything works fine) app did not show me "Nap" mode result, still "sleep" data is show and is ok. How do I see my actual total weekly steps? It only shows average total. I need it to show me the weekly total (I've had to manually add and I think that defeats the purpose 😮)

First of all, thanks for your video. I would like to ask you a question that I cannot see in it. I would like to have the screen always on when I am doing an activity, but in normal life I prefer to save battery and have the screen always off. I have found in zepp an option in the activities (initial screen, my tools, for example walking) and there is an option for that, but as you say, I think it is for the phone. Can it be done with the clock somewhere? Thank you very much!

Hi Roberto, I found a problem on my Zeep App which not showing green or red color on outdoor runing track maps. Is that a bug or do you recognize if there is any setting do we needed to show slow-fast color on the maps??

It seems that you are connected with a Xiaomi scale and its MiFit app. Forget that scale, it gives you wrong data. Also the ideal weight setting is insanly stupid 🙂

You have to select your watch on the app and then select :Notifications and Reminders. In there select "App Alerts" and you can turn them on or off for different apps.

@@angeluxgaminguploads5352 yessir that’s the issue. The app alerts page comes up empty and I couldn’t do any of that. Tried with iphone 11pro as well as 12 pro to no success. I ended up returning it and buying a huawei gt 2pro instead. I’m still watching videos on the amazfit gt3 pro because I honestly believe it’s the best watch for the price. I loved it for the 2 weeks that I had it. Maybe they came up with a new update that fixes the issue.

I think that is stupid that on the watch you cand see activity minutes, steps and calories and fill de circles, but you cant see this section on the zepp app. For me is very annoying and I want to change my amazfit balance just because of this
