AMAZING 18+ Minutes of Melbourne Airport Plane Spotting ● January 2017 Highlights!

Featuring - B737s, B747s, B767s, B777s, B787s, A319s, A320s, A330s, & A380s!
As the first month of 2017 comes to a close, it's always fantastic to look back on some of the highlights you've caught throughout the month! Jammed packed with some of Melbourne's best action, this fast paced, 19 minute plane spotting film also features a huge variety of airlines and aircraft!
Most notably, the Golden Week and the Chinese New Year celebration has seen a huge spike in passengers traveling between Melbourne and China. Airlines such as China Eastern have responded with temporary up-gauges on existing Melbourne flights. The up-gauge sees a temporary replacement from A330-200s to B777-300(ERs) on the MU737/8 flight. Due to that, China Eastern's 777s can now be seen leaving Melbourne during daylight!

With the days getting shorter, time is running out to be able to catch some of Melbourne's summer evening exclusive aircraft. Most notably, the Singapore Airlines A380 & Qantas Freight Classic B737-300's.

Melbourne also saw Emirates' Airbus A380 (A6-EUA) for the first time wearing it's new Arsenal colour scheme. The aircraft made 2 visits in total throughout the whole of January

A huge movement this month was SkyPrimes VIP A340-200 but unfortunately its timings overlapped with my vacation and therefor I was unable to catch it.
The rest were my favourite catches for the month!

Thanks mate! I used a regular 1080p camera and added a bit of sharpening in post. The 50fps gives it that slow motion feeling I think!
