I always love seeing the synchronization between the pilots and the checking procedures before take off and when they prep for landing. Makes me feel like I’m right there with them in the cabin. You can clearly see everything they perform are textbook procedures and excellent communications all the way to the end. Very professional. Like with cars motorsport the gap between a driver and a pilot is huge. A pilot has the skills, the concentration, thousands of training hours and often some talent too. I only have SIM expérience but I’m very impressed by the precision and the control she has in this perfect landing. Great job!

Its something that can already be almost perfectly automated and in a few more decades, computers will fly safer than any human pilot. Computers dont drink before flying or fly with too less sleep. Both things that pilots are doing (not all for sure, but maybe too many)

"Tail wings" angle adjustment, socalled stabilizer trim. It's driven by a motor in the tail and there are physical cables running from the tail to these spinning wheels. So you can adjust it manually if you want to or need to

On Instrument Flight Rules, they MUST adhere to the direction and height instructions given to them by the Controllers. There is no need to look outside vis a vis other aircraft.

They do look outside the aircraft for mid-air possibilities (unlike the crew of PSA)

Noticed that as well. Both pilots completely fixated inside. Bad idea in a busy terminal area.

@@blue81blue81 I think they have spatial awareness. Some pilots have the extra 6th sense if you will. I'm guessing they are married or brother and sister and it's a "two-see-one" type of intuitiveness.

I think their great pilots, fantastic job they do. Can someone tell me what them black and white dials are in the centre that keep turning on take off are ?
