🦞 Ultimate Lobster Roll Tour of Maine Part 1: • The Ultimate LOBSTER R...
👕 NEW T-shirts and caps available now: migrationology...
MAINE, USA - Welcome to the beautiful coast of Maine, New England - home of the New England lobster rolls! This is Part 2, if you missed lobster rolls Part 1 you can watch it here: • Amazing $25 LOBSTER BU... Let’s get started eating more delicious lobster rolls in Maine!
Friends in the video:
🔹 Follow Jeffrey Merrihue: / jeffrey_merrihue - Stop by at Heroic Italian (g.page/heroici...) in Santa Monica and say Hi to Jeffrey!
🔹 Follow Jessica Jessica Hirsch: / cheatdayeats
Today, we started near Portland, Maine and headed south down the coast. Here are the amazing lobsters rolls we tried:
Bite into Maine (g.page/bite-in...) - Price - about $28 per roll - We began at the beautiful Cape Elizabeth, an amazing coastal park and lighthouse. Conveniently, there’s a food truck called Bite into Maine that serves one of the best lobster rolls in Maine. It’s less traditional, but it’s so good. They have a Maine lobster roll, Connecticut roll, and a few non-traditional versions. Their lobster is fresh and chunky, and delicious.
The Lobster Shack at Two Lights (goo.gl/maps/mC...) - Next we headed to another spectacular location along the Maine coast called Two Lights. This is one of the most famous lobsters shacks in Maine. Although the scenery is beautiful, unfortunately the lobster rolls was not great. Comparing it to other lobster rolls we had in Maine, their lobster didn’t taste fresh or sweet, and I didn’t care for giant blob of mayo on top. But it was cool to put our feet in the water to eat!
The Clam Shack (goo.gl/maps/i9...) Price - $25 per roll - Located in Kennebunk, Maine, The Clam Shack has won many awards for their seafood and lobster rolls, and it’s not hard to see why - it’s one of the best. They serve a hamburger bun shaped roll, with some of the best textured lobster you’ll find. Their fried clams are also exceptional. One of the best seafood shacks in Maine!
Footbridge Lobster (goo.gl/maps/sb...) - Price - $24.95 - Finally to end this lobster roll tour, we drove to Ogunquit, known as the lobster capital of Maine. We weren’t really planning to eat a lobster roll here, but we had to once we saw how cool this place was. This was the surprise lobster roll of the trip. Really outstanding, fresh, and one of the best rolls of all the lobster rolls in New England.
It was another wonderful day of lobsters and fun in Maine!

The best thing about Mark Wiens videos is that you always feel like your right there with him, just chilling on the beach, the restaurant, the food cart, eating some seriously delicious food with some good friends having a great time doing it. That authenticity and the impackable good vibes that Mark is radiating out are truely astonishing and one of a kind. Everytime i watch some of his videos im engulfed in fumes of friendly food culture, showing the hospitality that preparing and sharing meals creates in every single culture, experiencing one of humanities common denominators, having a meal together and sharing some stories

Steve the owner at the Clam Shack - there's something really genuine and honest about him and his food. Yea, he's not the original founder, but as a new owner that took custody of the legacy I think he's love of the food is reflected in his foods. I never had it and don't know what it tastes like, but I can tell it will be great when I have it. Putting down Clam Shack on my list - thanks Mark/Steve!

mark saying that one lobster roll was underwhelming is the first time i've ever heard him say such a thing on camera... unless someone can reference other instances in which he's vocally not liked something? been watching for years and can't recall. certainly there's times where his body language and reaction suggest he's not into something- but this is the first time he's ever (to my knowledge) actually said it. that must've been one gnarly lob roll.

What I love about Mark Wiens, is all the energy, and charisma he puts in all of his videos. And logically, the Lady doing the film is his wife along with their little child, they do a great work too. Attention, Mark Wiens eats a lot, and he still is slims and his secret is, smile a lot while you entertain the whole world.

Yeah I am not sure why it was apparently really good. Makes you wonder if people just have crappy taste. I mean some shows I watch you can tell the food isn’t good but is so popular and wonder why.

@@meaganodell4479 it's because westerners are not used to strong flavors. So, this is normal for them. While Mark has an extreme palette because of his stay in Asia and Africa, his taste is even more extreme than most Asians. So, this probably tastes like paper to Mark. Like me, when I eat US food, it taste so bland to me, while most Americans don't like Asian spices.

Hi Mark, I live in NC. now but I'm from Massachusetts. I miss the New England seafood we use to get there. Watching this segment with the Clam Shack made me home sick. That was my favorite place to get good fresh seafood. Thank you Mark, your trips are great.
