This is the way I remember Black churches in the USA in the 1980's. All upbeat, elder Aunties enter singing and dancing down the aisles, the choir doing the one-two-three step with the choir leader sending everyone ecstatic with praise, the preacher/pastor/bishop enter joining in song and no one to proud to bust a sweat for the Lord. They say Africa is a few decades behind the US. If it means Africa will pick up all the USA's terrible ways and cast YHWH aside then I rather see Africa stay right where they are spiritually.
