ive looked after a girl with Gands for the past 6 years. She has gone from the most happiest little girl in the world to an incredible teenager who can build houses in Minecraft in two seconds (that is quite a skill!) Yes there are everyday routines that you adapt but in time they become normal family routines. its scary for families as there isn't much information about Gands and yes everyone is different but please know that you are going to have a lot of incredible moments with your child!

The couple is blessed to have such beautiful kids and I can tell that they've done a really good job raising them. The big sister is so smart that she can articulate her thoughts really well and the fact that mom considers her as her secretary means that she can already be trusted even at her young age.

What a better world it would be if EVERYONE made an effort to be aware of those in need and without hesitation help. To let others know they are loved and valued. Even a smile and a hello can be the beginning of a sweet journey for someone who is hurting and needs to know and be reminded their lives are so important and hat they are going through at the time does matter. It is the village theme! Raised in rural Alberta Canada, I was blessed to have many friends from various Indian Tribes and then as an adult to work with them and to learn so much of their culture. It takes a village to raise a child, a home, a relationship and so much more. This is why this show means so much to me. It brings me back continually to who I am at my core. Going through the trials and tribulations of life is the greatest experience to show your faith in God and to be thankful for each day with your family and friends… God is great My dear departed twin sister unfortunately got in an automobile accident when a man failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed in her vehicle and she ended up with epilepsy…….. She went through years and years of seizures and, thank God, her brain eventually healed itself and those seizures stopped….. Praise Jesus

We do with what we've got in the special needs world. Sometimes we take it day by day, other times we take it hour by hour and even minute by minute. My autistic son and I live in a shitty rental house, but it's a roof over our heads and we do with what we've got.
