Love all your videos homie! You and your wife answer all the most basic and simple and random questions that we all have but never shown on other channels. Like travel time if you take a cab over bus. What it cost for the return back to resort if you took a cab. Prices for drinks and loungers and menu photos. Seriously, all questions that we have but never answered. Going to check out all your Memories Caribe this week to get more tips and opinions. We live in Vancouver and been to Cayo Santa Maria four times and Varedero twice. Unfortunately Santa Maria my fav place to vacation is no longer a destination available from the west coast. So Cayo Coco is taking the lead for a late November or early February trip. And Memories Caribe is getting the best reviews. Just deciding now if the extra $300 for a week if I go solo is worth Diamond Club. I’ve seen your video on it and it seems the rooms are the same. Just a better beach grill and pre booked a La cartes. Just seems like not much for the extra $300. I’ll keep ya posted and share this comment on another of your videos in case you only answer to a few of them. Cheers from VanCity!

@brumalerie that may be the best comment we have ever received. That was the purpose of why we started our channel so thanks for that. Sucks they discontinued your packages to Santa Maria and we haven't been there yet but we were not at all disappointed with Cayo Coco. We didn't see many shortages while we stayed there so we were fortunate that way. We enjoyed our stay at Memories Caribe and would return other than we like to try new places. As far as the Diamond Club we only paid $40 cdn per person so that's a big difference. You can pay to upgrade at the front desk (it could be cheaper for you than the $300 you mentioned ) but from our experiences a crisp $50 bill does a lot of upgrading when you're one-on-one. lol Good luck! Let us know how you make out. Thanks for watching

I've been traveling to Cuba yearly since 1999, and it's amazing to see the changes. I've stayed in Varadero once, back in '05. For the past several years I've been taking groups of people to Cuba to help them get to know the island. Glad to see more people going.

@lespane9259 honestly we avoided Cuba for a very long time based on feedback from people and couldn't regret that more now that we have been there. The people are so nice there and the beaches are world class. Thanks for watching!

We love lobster, no matter where it's from, but Karen is right. I'm from the north eastern coast of the U.S. Lobster from that region of the world IS on another level! If we ever make it to Cuba, we'll check Lenny's out.

It really was a nice break from the resort food. Karen says I have to try some Lobster from her neck of the woods. I mean if I HAVE to. 🤣

Lobster is different in Cuba but still good. Lucky to find it now lol. When I went a LONG time ago we tipped $5 each day at the buffet and got a bottle of wine every day and the last day brought out 2 full plates of lobster tail meat on top of french fries lol. Thanks for sharing!

That's awesome. We have always said that tipping pays off in the long run lol. You can't beat lobster fries 🦞🍟. We both enjoyed the lobster but Karen thought it was prudent to set a realistic expectation for her fellow East coasters that might be there for there first time. Cheers!

Do you pay extra for this "diamond" bar service
@beachbumbling2 ай бұрын
@MR-gp9ys when we booked the trip online we were able to upgrade to the diamond club. The cost can vary depending who you book it with, what time of the year etc. We were told that you can also ask to be upgraded at the hotel but are not sure what they charge on site. We only paid $40 per person for the week which is the cheapest we have seen online. If you want to know more about what is included, we did a video on it recently that you can check out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmW4iqyKh8iDeMUsi=DVHaSAHT5n9FBAv6 Cheers

“Thick juice” = probably canned

@DKeeping Now that you mention that, we didn't see hardly any fresh mangos while we were there so you might have e a point. Varadero had more fresh fruit options from what we saw. Thanks for watching!
