Wow! I was one off. Sorry about #7. This was my very first time of seeing puppies born!!! Aria is such a good mommy, and busy doing all the right things. Thumbs up for Braxton, too!! He's a very good nurse!! I loved how he talked to the baby, and Aria. So sweet. Hmm...let's see...a cook, a comedian, and now, a nurse!!!! I think that boy is turning out pretty good. We went on her first pregnancy just to check on her to see how she was doing that when we can tell the babies were born in the vet told us that she would be fine and wouldn’t need C-section

This is so cute! My boston terrier, Millie, is having puppies in one week. The vet said she will have six. I am horrified that one will be born dead, though. What do I do?

Sorry for late reply been kinda busy. We have had 3 litters, total of 20 puppies and only lost 1. It is sad if you lose one, but unfortunely part of it sometimes. Just watch plenty of videos on “what do you need to deliver puppies” also ask your vet for literature on puppy delivery. We have a couple of videos that might help ya.

My husband brought a pregnant dog home the other day and now I'm not sure if I'm scared or excited about her having her puppies, I mean, I could be home alone with her when she is in labor and giving birth for all I know!

The momma dog will probably be fine when giving birth, you can just assist if even necessary. If the dog is an older dog she may even have experience.

We are wanting to breed Boston Terriers as well. We’ve been doing research and we are a little worried since our male is on the larger side, about 26 pounds. The female I’m estimating will be around 18-20 pounds, do you think she can free whelp? I know that you always need to prepare for c-section though. Also, how big was the male that bred to her? Our female was 15lbs first pregnancy and now this last pregnancy she was 19lbs. Our male was 20lbs first pregnancy and is now 23lbs. I believe yours would be big enough. Do either of them have a larger then normal Head some Boston have a bigger or wider head which can be the problem and why you might need Csection

Arya is bigger now after 3 pregnancies. She was 15-16 pounds now she is 18-20 pounds. But she does pretty good birthing herself. But a lot of Boston Terriers do have to have C section. Our Bostons are not really that small. How small is your female?
