Y’know, for the longest time I assumed it was guaranteed for a solar eclipse to start if you try to skip a blood moon and vice versa as like, a punish mechanic, just because of how often it happened to me. It came as a surprise to know I was just exceptionally unlucky. It’s great to see enchanted sundial was buffed to mitigate that occurrence!

Re:Logic actively listens to their community more than any single other studio. Every single request, suggestion, was given thought, and they didn’t do anything completely game-changing without consulting the community first. I truly believe that this is why they have made what I believe is the best game in the world.

PS. btw they also added Helium Moss, which is a glowing rainbow moss you get from throwing any glowing moss into shimmer. They also added Galaxy Pearls that permanently increase your Luck. You get them from throwing specifically Pink Pearls into shimmer too.

I didn't know about the Sundial changes until now, but I'm so glad they added these changes. When I was making my base a while ago, I got several Solar Eclipses and Blood Moons back-to-back, and it was a huge pain.

Khaios, May I suggest dipping your RoD, an angel statue, a fruit, and the Skeleton Merchant into the new Shimmer liquid? Trust me, you won’t regret it. (The Artsian’s Bread is superb for builders).

my favorite addition as a non journey mode builder is the Rod of Harmony, so useful as it won't damage you or give the chaos debuff at all! for anyone wondering, it's obtained by throwing a rod of discord into a pool of shimmer, (the new liquid) it also has to be post moon lord

This been said many times, but I still love how this shows how they care are about players Mostly about planter boxes Their main use in theory isnt to be used as standard platform but In practice some parts are just better, and now they made them even better, adding things that in theory arent needed for them

Can't wait for the video on Shimmer. Not only does it provide a TON of new items, but I'm curious to see how you use it in a build. It sort of reminds me of the Fountain of Dreams from Kirby (particularly the Smash version), so maybe a build inspired by that would be cool?

My favorite part of the void bag is quickstashing from it. I just made a storage network of junk chests to just throw everything into that isn't going into my main chests.

I’m so grateful for the stack size increase and also making some unstackable items now stackable, such as the Guide voodoo doll. No more having your inventory filled with stacks of gel, and no more having five chests dedicated to voodoo dolls

I noticed you still have a Rod Of Discord, if you're not in Journey, that Chaos State is going to be very annoying, throw it into the new Shimmer liquid for a Rod Of Harmony. You will kot gain Chaos State with it.

Super Underrated feature with equipping monoliths!!!!! Vanity slot Echo vision!!! The echo goggles don't work in the vanity accessory slots, but the echo chamber monolith does! This is such an amazing change that I now have to always have two open slots for a monolith and a music box.

Void bag was given such a good change because I can keep all my buffs on the bag without having it occupy any space in my inventory. It helps me clean up faster when I have trash in my inventory too because I won't need to open the bag itself and clean up every so often.

Hey I already commented it on one of your tweets but just incase you miss it I discovered that you can use echo paint on mushroom tree stems to leave only the branches left and if done right it looks like mushrooms are growing off the walls.

I wish they added an Item that prevents natural events from spawning, so no blood moon or invasion. Maybe a weak version, that only lowers the chances, in early hardmode and if you throw it in the shimmer after killing moonlord it would completely prevent them.

The one thing I wish they did, was make it so you can use the rubblemaker if it’s associated items are in an open void bag, like if it’s a second inventory then why is it not working like it, and it’s not cause it selects the top left most block because they have a selection menu for it

I really really love the rope update. I use platforms minecarts and rope together a lot especially really early game. The very first thing I do is a house with a hellevator. Platforms both to delineate torch placement, my strip mine grid, and an early movement. I struggle with uneven building so It's a very nice change. Also stack size. Probably void bag as well but I've never used it. So by default I have to go favorite as rope and the like. Gameplay and compact building wise, it's far more impactful than any other so far

People had 50 slots in inventory. Now having 40 void bags (The action bar is useful to not void bag up), you can have {(50x40)-40}+10 Inventory slots= 1970 slots

This is the base texture pack, with one exception. I use a texture pack I made to turn the magma skull into the spooky wood helm for vanity set reasons. But every single block and wall is vanilla to the game. No texture packs there!

The changes to the sundial are cool, but there should still also be a three day cooldown between natural Solar Eclipses and Bloodmoons (individually).
