Did you get any altitude sickness in Puno or was staying in Arequipa and traveling by bus to Puno enough acclimatization?

Great question. We DEFINITELY felt the altitude in Puno. Were not acclimated, then again we only spent less than 24 hours in Arequipa. But Puno is a city with tons of hills, it's pretty much a city built on a big hill lol. But if you are trying to get acclimated, Puno would be the place to do so haha. Nicole got altitude sickness moderately and I felt it a tiny bit. But walking up the hilled-streets was when you can feel it.
