This is the most awesome compact tractor I have ever seen! In addition to being able to go places no other equipment can, it also has a wide array of attachments and capabilities that turn it into a machine that exceeds even the wildest imaginations!

Look forward to your video(s) regarding engine work. Doing the valve lash checks and, if needed, the adjustments are easy. Getting the coil support brakcket out of the way is a PIA. Maybe you can show us how to remove the cover without loosening the bracket.

Yes they're versatile, but it's way more than just that. They can do some high end tasks BETTER than any other machine

Very enjoyable! I'd love to see a TrunkPump in action on a Ventrac. That could be a yet another Blue Cord special capability! Flooding in spring rains? Gertrude can help! I think these engines are shipped with an engine block coolant drain petcock that is removed prior to engine install at the factory. I wonder if there's concern that it would be too inaccessible or there'd be concern for it getting bumped. It would be located behind the air box cover near the governor. Otherwise seems useful on a piece of equipment that's going to be maintained.

Denis, the simple answer is Ventrac is built for commercial applications and demands in mind. Understand that the the same family that designed Steiner, sold it, and then made something even better, the Ventrac!

Do you happen to know the size of the tires used with the chains? Do you think it is worth it for mowing steep banks?

The size is listed on the ventrac site under accessories. Just a slightly more narrow tire. I thought about it, but a local fellow found chains that fit the stock tires. I may do that. I use chains on the front turf tires of my JD650 CUT and it really does help on steep soft ground and heavy snow.

I believe that the size is the same but the width is less. Remember that you can alter the diameter with different pressures. Years ago I had a full set of chains made for the regular Field Trax tires, but the Ventrac chains for the narrow tire are REALLY aggressive and awesome!

@@matsjansson-xe5ik nice! Yes it's possible to use 2 dual wheel kits for a triple tire setup. The bolts on the wheel extensions just need to be long enough to mount the threaded hub to it
