I thought for sure you would need a skid steer for that job, but you killed it! Great work!

The area at the entrance to the pipes needs to be graded with a *reverse front V"(back toward facing as relates to water flow upon upstream side and in the obverse on the downstream side) installed upon both the upstream and downstream sides along with a raised bridge. In other words you're creating a ponding effect behind the bridge to allow for the water to flow properly (most efficiently) through the piping system then a secondary ponding effect ("whirlpooling" maybe?) upon the downstream side. Could even add an actual Pond downstream from this a right proper bridging instead of this total misuse of quality material.

Yes, absolutely, but this customer wanted to keep the cost down despite my recommendations :)

Do you find the power rake works any better/differently when you use it in forward vs reverse? Thanks!
@bluecordterrainsolutions2 жыл бұрын
Susan, it really depends on what you're trying to do. I find that running in forward is good for loosening material while running in reverse is better for moving material and the final, polished grade

Hey Bradley, I have been meaning to get your honest opinion. If I get one of the power rakes from Ventrac, do you think I could use it as a tiller for like a garden? I see it does everything else fine, such as soil cultivation to seed and I think you can set it to go just as deep right? Also have you been looking at the new power rake Ventrac just unveiled?
@bluecordterrainsolutions3 жыл бұрын
Fox, It seems like they're both similar but the Power Rake will never replace the Tiller in terms of depth and keeping the soil loose for planting. The two have very different capabilities and aren't really interchangeable in my opinion. That's why I have both :)
@HexaFox3 жыл бұрын
@@bluecordterrainsolutions Thanks, I was not sure if you had both or not and since you do pretty much answers my question.
