Great for minor body work depending of course where the damage is. I have one and it hleped a little but most of the time I hand to use other means.

It looks like maybe they used a torch to soften the metal? The paint seemed to be melted. I'm not a auto body repair guy, but I think that when metal gets bent/unbent you need to heat it up to soften it because it will have 'metal fatigue' and be weak if you don't. Then heat it up and pour water on it, to make it hard metal again, after it's back in shape. This is only a guess.
