Awesome job, very professionally done. You can barely see the damage after you pushed out the dent!

Watched you other videos, great topics and they are helpful! Thank you. But got a question: Did you (or a body shop) pull out the damage BEFORE showing us where you started using this 4ton tool? IF you had this tool earlier, do you think you could you have pulled out all the damage with the 4 ton tool?

seems time consuming doing it manually curious if those fittings can be used on a hydraulic pump or air compressor to speed it up and have less manual pumping. Nice explanation starting to get how these 10 ton and 4 ton kits work but most times it just better for a whole piece replace or its going to take you along time.
@patriotmarf5 жыл бұрын
Studying the car damage from experience i would say that needs to get pulled on frame machine tied down properly. The frame rail would need to be replaced. If it was just qtr and rear body panel fine you could just hammer out spare tire well maybe some small kinks in frame rail, but hat metal is kinked good and it looked like he already pulled some of the panel out before video was made.
@splash59745 жыл бұрын
This is a joke! And they definetly arent fixing this themselves! Unless you have a frame machine, and knowledge of how to pull, they arent getting anywhere with this one...you can see the kinks around the area where the frame rail is. Hopefully they bought this cheap enough to sell the drivetrain and maybe front sheetmetal to try and offset the cost of this thing... People without proper knowledge, shouldnt be buying stuff at auctions!! Plus there is such a small margin of profit on these vehicles. I had a friend with a body shop that bought a few per year, but he only worked on them when they were slow. Cause he admitted that there really wasnt much profit on them.

The back end needs to be cut off an a new uni-body assembly welded in place.

Can anyone tell me if the cylinders used in these kits have a spring return? Do they retract on their own or do they need gravity/assistance of some sort?

First and foremost you should never hold, lift, carry or move any part of that kit by the pump handle or hoses. Hold the heaviest parts in your hands, not the lightest

There is no way you can use that to fix that damage. You need to cut that whole section and weld in a new panel
@TwoCarGaragez6 жыл бұрын
Alvin Shen I hope that’s what they did. But you should always pull it out before you cut it. Cause it brings everything around it to its normal position.
@Usefullinformationphilippines6 жыл бұрын
You have to pull the metal back into place to realign the car before replacing panels or your doors and trunk will no ever line up then you replace the outside skin of the panel
@AP-bo1if6 жыл бұрын
@@TwoCarGaragez just curious why do you have to cut it out? for example if they bought it for themselves and don't plan to sell it. is it because it won't pass safety or some other reason? also does the dealer sell those kind of metal pieces or you have to find a parts car? thanks

Is 4 ton sufficient vs 10 ton?
@63GTDriver4 жыл бұрын
Mike ONeal I think so , for this type of repair. The 8 or 10 ton is a much larger unit, length wise and diameter of shafts.
