That is the bigger picture. It is not just people and buildings, it's wildlife, pets and farm animals that must not be neglected. It is as much a shock to them as it is to the Ukranian people, and any one or thing that suffers as a result of war or a climatic catastrophe. Well done. ❤

This is so heartwarming. What an amazing effort from everyone who helped this precious kitty. From the woman who first noticed her, to the rescuers who physically grabbed her. Thank you to all involved for saving this precious life. I would love to see an update with this kitty.

It's amazing the lengths the Ukrainian people will go to for their cats. Even under such trying conditions. I will always respect them for that.

WOW took my breath away 😳 this immediately touched me. I'm running in tears 😢 this beautiful Persian cat. She was extremely scared but only Him allowed her to survive for 60 days w/out food/water. She had an Instinct to survive; she knew someone would find her & that lady found her. 😏

Wow, and I thought that the Pleasantville fire department made a big deal out of rescuing cats...

Everyone’s passing her around like a hot potato and I’m over here like “SHE NEEDS IV FLUIDS IMMEDIATELY!! Did the cat survive?! Did she get to a vet?!” Even though she may be alive at the time of her rescue, once organs start shutting down from starvation they usually don’t start up again. She looked in ok condition but it still would’ve been really nice to get an update at the end of the video showing her cleaned up and healthy. My experience in rescue has me worried, I’ve seen cats survive some crazy things but I’ve also seen cats succumb to these conditions as well.

Aren't they terrified of new airstrikes that could happen at any moment? I thought they were all hiding in bunkers until the war is over but what do I know.
@bemusedbandersnatch20696 ай бұрын
Maybe air strikes actually don't tend to strike twice in the same place? I mean that building is pretty thoroughly ruined.

@@bemusedbandersnatch2069 Why were they attacking civilian buildings to begin with? I'd argue that they were collateral/unintentional targets but who knows what the russians were thinking.

@@huldu as a morale killer like a terrorist attack? They did kill the power to Ukraine right before Christmas that one time well before the war started.

Ukraine has a very good advance warning service that texts people alerts when planes or missiles launched from Russia are detected. It is specific to the region(s) of the country that are under attack. If you don’t have an alert on your phone, you can go about safely. If an air raid alert sounded out mid-rescue, then yes, they would’ve gone running for the nearest shelter, but there’s no need to cower there all day long.

Correction: Putin’s Russia has cost Ukraine, the EU, and the US billions of dollars. Don’t attack your neighbors to steal their land and people, it’s that simple.
