I love the Zisha Art and as a potter I am always looking for ways to improve my teapot making technique.

I have often wondered how these beautiful teapots were made as I collect teapots and 2 of them are antique Yixing teapots one has the Prunas blossom decoration. Thank you for this most enlightening video of how these wonderful pots are made.

This is the first time I’ve seen one of these in a useful size. All the ones available for sale are the tiny ones used in ritual-not something most of us appreciate.

So hard to get a real one in the states. you have to be very careful you dont buy a slip mold made one that took them a fraction of the time to make but are still charging handmade prices.

It's crazy that this clay is only found in Yixing. I wonder what influences the color. A particular kind of mineral deposit?
@dragontoucher59355 жыл бұрын
TotemoGaijin It is real, this kind of clay is only can be found in Yixing, there is tiny holes on the teapot which is not visible, this most unique feature for this clay
