WoW! That Chinese girl is AMAZING! Her voice is very DYNAMIC! Her English is good too! The Chinese female JUDGE has a poor ear, but is very beautiful! We do NOT say this to many Chinese female singers cause many of them sound the same! Even a good number of men sing the SAME TENDOR voice! @@AceDesu I just played Adele's original and the diction in parts of her performance are not perfect either. Maybe Chinese people entering these sorts of shows should get a better understanding of the lyrics so they can show it in their movements and gestures. Jane Zhang is a good model for that.

@@AceDesu it's not that you have no accent. It's that you have a mix of few different accents. Everyone has an accent, including Adele. There's nothing wrong with having an accent if it doesn't affect communication. Some people like Adele's accent and some don't.

Oh my god, guys. I read the comments first and expected to not be able to understand her at all, but I've come to the conclusion there's a lot of racists who watched this. Do you guys not realize how many native English speakers have songs that are all but incomprehensible? As someone who grew up in theater, where clarity of words is very important (there's an exercise we do where we stand on opposite sides of a soccer field and talk to each other), while this girl had some off-key moments, her pronunciation and diction were perfectly understandable. It's better than some native English speakers who are famous vocalists, and considering that you learn how to pronounce your native language and sort of "lock in" those certain phonemes, singing in English as a Chinese speaker (two very different languages, sound-wise) is impressive. How many of you native English speakers can even roll your Rs like Spanish speakers? And that's a fairly simple change in sound.
