Just want to share some information - The sound of insects is not from crickets, they are Cicadas (pronounced saketas). In most parts of the world, Cicadas only come once every few years, like for example in the US its once in 14 years or so. But in malnad they have a different life cycle so they come every year. Also you are pronouncing chittakki like the British would 🙂, it's actually pronounced as Chitt - akki but as one word (there are two Ts to indicate it must be stressed). It just means Humming Bird in malnad speak. Was amazing to see authentic Akki Rotti, Kesa palya, Hurli Kattu, Hurida Mamsa, Eeri, Kadubu, Shyavige, all which you featured both in the first and second part of this video series. Thank you Kripal, you always bring the most authentic experiences to your videos. Love the hosts who are keeping tradition alive and so down to earth. Watching this from US and missing home.

It's all the doing of fellow humankind,ecosystem is damaged to the extent of 40-50 years of the time ahead,will need to plant 20 trees per person & need to periodically check on it time & again until it blossoms to a tree,any fast growing would do,

Good morning dear Kripal - Wow what a wonderful place to be amidst a beautiful coffee plantation. That experience is further elevated by staying in the coffee estate .. in this case at the Chitaki Estate 👌 Hello to Mr Sharad 👋 Wow it would be awesome to experience first hand the life of the coffee planters life 💯💯💯 Quite informative to understand the importance of rains ( Revathi) for coffee planters . Looks like one is going on a wild life sanctuary vide your ride 👍 Please don’t quiz the coffee lover - Kripal ( Kudos to your knowledge) . Unfortunately due to Global Warming phenomena, coffee plantations like this one has to suffer . What about usage of cloud seeding to create artificial rains ? Wow the experience is surreal . I have visited a few coffee estates but never went into understanding the finer nuances of coffee making ( right from plantation to the final cup or coffee) True that we are dependent on nature and it’s seldom in our busy lives we get a chance to have an immersive experience with nature . The pollination process is so wonderful and a nature’s gift to us 🙏 Time for a coffee break ; Coffee from the plantation . Awesome that you got a chance to get behind the wheels and drive the pick-up truck 👍 Well done dear Kripal 💯💯💯 Breakfast time ; Akki Roti with the Kesa with Thuppa , Horesgram chutney and coconut chutney . Have never tried it before . Appearance wise looks to be a meaty fare . Need to find the recipe for both the dishes though you did explain , in brief , the cooking process . Thanks also for your brilliant articulation of the taste and flavour of both the dishes 👌 I agree it’s better to go to the source and enjoy the wholesome experiences including the culinary one . Love the expansive space that the Chitaki Homestay has to offer 👍👍 Look forward to your next vlog in this series where you would enjoy driving the Jimny 👍 Thoroughly enjoyed every frame of this vlog . Mumbai is scorching 🥵 and it would be great to be staying at Chitaki HS now 😀 Superb and candid vlog . Take care , stay blessed. Loads of love and respect 🫡🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️ Today being a holiday will step out with Dad to have some Chinese Lunch 😀

Hi Rajesh, hope you're having a good May Day. 🙂 Yes, I love my coffee and know a bit, but one learns so much through experiences like these, and what it takes to get that cuppa. There is so much work that gos in on the land, and much is dependent on the vagaries of nature. One feels grateful and appreciative for what we have. Am glad you enjoyed the plantation tour and breakfast too. Definitely a place to experience if you find yourself in the area. Enjoy yyour Chinese lunch with your Dad. Do convey my Namaskara. Cheers!

@@KripalAmannaVlogs Thanks so much for your reply 🙏 Had a wonderful lunch with my Dad and did convey your Namaskaras to him . He was happy and his best wishes and blessings to you and your loved ones . Yes I am enjoying my May Day Holiday. You literally teleported me to Chitaki Homestay so I am going to enjoy my “virtual” siesta 😀 You have a wonderful day ahead and God bless 😇

Till wht time of the month will we be able to see the coffee blooms
@KripalAmannaVlogs8 ай бұрын
Posted your query to the owners, here’s their response: During Irrigation patches of the estate will be in blossom in a staggered manner. This happens usually in the month of March and only in Robusta. You can see the whole of Arabica in blossom,9 days after the first summer rains. Which generally happens in March April.

Hill station foods: Natural and original. Nature provides you with everything you like to eat. Plain station foods: Man made a melting pot of unnatural and inorganic chemistry.
