Amazing Coin Trick

I figured it out. The small coin fits into the donut shell coin. The small coin is a copper silver insert. Copper on one side and silver dollar on the other. He takes out the donut shell with the copper silver inserted covering the hole. Shows that as a half dollar because the other side of the copper is half dollar. So all you see is the silver insert you dont see the shell on the other side. Then in his hand he separates them to show the donut coin shell and the copper silver insert. The half dollar that we see at first is probably a real half dollar and never leaves his original hand. He could of shown both sides of the real half but it would be suspicious to only flip over one coin. I think I saw this gimmick coin on the Johnson magic coins website. I almost got it. I definitely am going to get it now. Its similar to hopping half but I think its just a little cooler.

Just hazarding a guess, but I'm tgibking the silver and the copper coins are actually one face silver and one face copper (did he ever show both sides without a video cut?). When he grabbed one, he would show the opposite side and also geab that middle coin and hide it behind the first coin. then he just needed to flip both the coins over in his hand to make them transform. Again, complete guess here.
