Join Kurt & Sara as we visit downtown Asheville, NC in the Blue Ridge Mountains to go to our favorite restaurant, The Noodle Shop to get our favorite plant-based vegan dinner. We also go to The Hop for tasty plant-based vegan ice cream! Along the way we visit several other shops and show you some of the sights in the city. Finally, we visit The Omni Grove Park Inn to relax at the end of our fun day. Curious if you have done anything on nightlife in Asheville and specifically focusing on the local music scene. I have had a hard time finding videos that focus on local musicians and good venues to hit for all types of local music in the area. Most videos focus on the bigger venues and national acts that come through or the buskers. Both are great, but I would like to see a video showing smaller clubs and local talent around Asheville.

I was wondering if you can recommend some good waterfalls in the surrounding Asheville area? Maybe some hikes but not too crazy? Love the videos- you are the happiest couple.

Thanks so much, we're so happy you like our videos! DuPont State Forest has a ton of waterfalls with some easy to moderate hiking trails. Its a great all in one location but a little bit of a drive from Asheville. The NC Arboretum is another great place for easy hikes closer to Asheville but you have to pay for parking. Looking Glass Falls in Pisgah National Forest is another great waterfall that you can drive your car right up to and park on the street. Lots for easy hiking there as well.
