Great video! It must be really surreal to be sitting there and you just see desert sand dunes all around you. I had no idea there was like a town right next to it. I guess that makes it a bit more comforting and that's why people are able to go there. I thought it was some super remote olace you had to take helicopter to. Haha. Thanks for the content!
@KittiandJon5 ай бұрын
Thank you! 😊 yeah it’s a pretty surreal place even with the town so close! Haha would have been even cooler if we’d had to get a helicopter though! 😅

Really insightful video, thank you guys! Haven’t seen any other video show the litter on the dunes so that was eye opening. I’m travelling to Peru next month and interested in doing a 2 day Peru hop tour from Lima to huacachina and Paracas. They have 2 options: one which spends more time in Paracas and one which spends more time in Huacachina but you miss out on the Paracas national reserve in that option. Do you think the national reserve in Paracas is worth it if it means spending only 3 hours in huacachina? Or do you think spending a whole day in huacachina is better and we could skip the national reserve? Unfortunately we only have time to do one of the above otherwise I would spend longer in each!
@KittiandJon5 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yeah unfortunately that’s the darker side to Huacachina! Hmm difficult question…Paracas Reserve is definitely worth seeing as there are some spectacular landscapes there including the red sand beach…don’t know if you’ve watched our Paracas video but that might give you an idea of whether you’d like to see it or not 😊 3 hours in Huacachina is a pretty short amount of time though…it’s fine if all your going to do is the dune buggy’s but you might want to spend a little more time there to climb some of the dunes, go sand boarding, paddle boat on the lake etc. So yeah tricky to answer that question but comes down to your personal interests really. Hope that helps and have a great trip 😊

Binge-watching your Peru vids as Im heading there next month. Did you book all the optional tours with Peruhop? Even the Floating Iszland overnight stay? did you have to book all these tours in advance or just book as you go? Thanks
@KittiandJon3 ай бұрын
Hope they are helping your planning process 😊 yes we booked all the optional tours including floating islands through Peruhop as it was the most convenient way. And no we didn’t have to. You could still book them once you’d arrived by speaking to your bus tour guide. Although the option was there to book them in advance if you wanted to 😊
