Good morning Heath & Rachel, it’s great you work together. That 8 way splits perfectly with that size of rounds. You certainly know how to place the knotted rounds to get the best splits out of it, really good. I’m more & more impressed with the splitter each time I see in use. As you all get used to the splitter, will you consider putting the Auto-cycle on it ?

Adrian thanks for the comment. The 8 way is perfect for campfire splits. We plan on running the 6 way today and getting that video out soon. We have huge ash rounds to turn in to heating sized splits. So far I am liking the current set up with the speed of this machine. Both have their pros and cons. We also just picked up a custom project Bobby from All Wood made up for me and I’m pretty excited about it! That will be coming in a future video as well.

Randy, definitely too fine for heating wood, works great in my campfire mixes at my roadside stands. I sell an assortment of sizes and mixed species some hardwood, some soft in these stands. It makes an easy lighting good flame throwing decent burn time fire with the mix. Been having a hard time keeping up now that people have figured it out. I run cellular security cams and get a lot of repeat customers. The smaller pieces burn up a little faster as well generating more sales.

Thanks, it is a fast splitter for sure. We initially ordered our machine without auto cycle due to the fact that our kids sometimes run it and we thought it would be a little safer this way. Looking back we wish we had gone with auto cycle. We contacted Bobby from All Wood Log Splitters and he has ordered us a valve to convert it to auto cycle.

The new Muscle Wood comes standard with auto cycle and an even quicker cycle time. I opted for this style, they both have their pros and cons. The speed and power of this machine makes it less of an issue but full auto cycle could be nice especially if working alone.

Hi Heath & Rachel - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. I stumbled onto your channel when researching alternative splitting options other than Ruggedmade, Eastonmade and Wolfe Ridge. The AllWood range is very impressive but I haven't yet worked out the relative pricing differences with other makes and this is the true test when comparisons are made. I'm also a great believer in using a pair of log tongs - they save the back, enable you to lift logs single handedly and crucially prevent pinch accidents. I've just subscribed so look forward to more splitter action. If I was Rachel I would go on strike until you more accurately renamed your channel. It looks to me that she is the one that's worked to the bone while you ponce about!!

We split this wood small on purpose. It goes in my offside stand for camp fires. The smaller wood sells a lot better here by the campgrounds. Throws a better flame, easier to light, burns faster so they buy more. I get a lot of compliments and return customers from it. We split our heating wood into larger sizes.

You assume that I tell my wife what to do? If you knew her at all you’d know that definitely isn’t the case. We have a ton of fun out there working together and after being married for over 20 years are still best friends. Plenty of videos with her in T shirts and baggy sweats as well. Obviously we try to get people to watch our videos as that is one of the points of making them. We started our channel to help others as I’ve been helped along the way but you can’t help or entertain people if they never watch a video to start. And yes I do think she’s hot but not ably that she’s a lot of fun!
