A coin that is struck off-center is called a misstrike or off-center coin. A misstrike occurs when a coin is struck inaccurately, resulting in an imperfect design, such as being incomplete or off-center. I hope that helps ,Dave, and nice finds keep diggin

GREAT VIDEO DAVE! I had also found a 2000P New Hampshire quarter just like that back in 2002. FOR REAL! The exact same off center as yours is too! Off center at the top on the obverse and at the bottom on the reverse. Maybe there are more New Hampshire off center quarters out there? Nice Colorado cud quarter too! KEEP ON DIGGIN'!
