we have a 28' rear kitchen timber ridge and absolutely love love love it. we tow it with a chevy 1 ton 3500, and we cant even tell its behind us. we went 75 mph up cabbage hill between pendleton and lagrande oregon, and didnt realize it. We slowed down lol. but its just tows really nice. Coming back down the hill, the trailer didnt push us at all. and handled really nice on the 6% downgrade. The only drawback is that the mattress is soft. other than that its a great trailer. We added 2 shelves across the inside of the slide out wardrobe, for clothes storage, that works great. shoes and coats fit nicely inside the cupboards next to each side of the bed. We camp for extended periods of time, and its all the clothes storage we need for 2 adults.

Great Boondocking TT great features exterior looks great. Interior to brown and Gas & Electric Fridge much rather have a 12V fridge. We will have raining days and spend time inside. Needs to be brighter inside. Love your overview and you guys are real .. Regardless still love the TT would i do some modern back-splash and have bottom cabinets professionally painted white wash modern barn. Thankfully the exterior is high end modern. Example my home is in Miami, and our interior is Mediterranean Coastal look yet would not want my TT to look like my home. Unless i go full time.

Great video! Just subscribed! My wife and I are looking at ORV, specifically the Backcountry series. Just curious as to why you guy's chose your model versus a Backcountry in which you would have gotten bigger fresh and LPG tanks, as well as a built in generator, especially since you're boondocking for as long as are? Thanks in advance and I'm already looking forward to more of your content! Keep up the good work!

Great video! Thanks for sharing. I just subscribed to your channel. I'll check out some of your other videos, too. I just started discovering Outdoors RV. They're beautiful, especially the Titanium series in their various product lines. Did you tow your trailer with that blue truck we can see in the video? Looks like a Toyota Tundra. Is that correct? Any issues with towing?

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving from Ouray, CO! New subscriber here. We're looking to get a couples trailer also as I get a lot of 1-2 week blocks of time off from work to focus on exploring the backcountry of CO and the surrounding states. After 3-5 years when we retire, we'll extend that out to 1-2 months trips to focus on a new region of the country each time we launch out. It is pretty much like a national park where we live; so we'd plan to come back home for 1-2 months, in between trips. Very nice trailer; thank you for sharing it with us!! I remember looking at Outdoors RV trailers a couple of years ago when we were passing a dealer in Poncha Springs, CO. We like these trailers, as well as the Lance's. I'm not exactly sure what Make/model we will get, but we definitely want to splurge a bit so as to get more of a year round capable. Wow....the holding tank sizes on these are incredible!! Have a great day!!

I find these units to be very impressive but my goodness are these bad boys incredibly heavy. This model weighs what a little typical 30 footer ought to, 11k gvw. Just unbelievable. Just seems odd to need a 3/4 ton for a 25 ft trailer, but that’s the reality. A shame they don’t offer something a little lighter because I would be very interested, but half-ton trucks are big and expensive enough, I can’t see rocking a 2500 monster.

I am very interested in the particular ORV trailer you bought and just now subscribed to your channel. Please tell me how well your pickup truck tows your new trailer? Can you tell me the payload capacity of your truck? Do you have air bag suspension? Do you see much squat, or did an equalizer hitch take care of most of that??? Maybe you can use my inquiries as topics of discussion in an upcoming video :-) I have a Ram 2500 HD Diesel that can pull 17, 000 lbs, but only has a payload capacity of 2,030 lbs with coil suspension. THANK YOU!!!!

I like the outdoors rv trailers but their interiors need some updated modern colors. The other thing that I think is a negative is they need to use power panels. They use random switches in different places to power various equipment. Instead of having 3 separate switches in the bathroom they should integrate a 3 switch control panel. It makes no sense to have 3 random switches stacked on top of each other.
@ttc99wilson3 жыл бұрын
I'm looking at the Outdoors trailers now. How often do you need to use your generator? The Back Country comes with one but not the Mountain or Titanium series, I think. I really like one of the floor plans on a Mountain series but no generator.

@@rboutdoorsnw yes we have a ladder going to top of camper but rather than a flat surface, our camper has rounded roof. So the dangerous part is slipping off when cleaning/fixing. If i might ask... what kind of price would I be looking at (for a rig like yours) Thanks... (wes)

Yes 250rks dry weight is about 7300 lbs. I tow with a 2019 tundra. We bought it from Thomson RV in Oregon we paid about 52000 dollars but thats with the solar set up with 3 battle born lithium batteries. We have been living in it for 6 months now and love it!

@@rboutdoorsnw thanks for the info. 520k is quite a bit...maybe I'll hit a lottery... lol I got a few years to go idk if I can get that much but it looks like it would be worth it. I guess you store your tables in the tundra? My plan is same...retire, see the country. Wifi Have you tried a cell phone extender adapter? I presume dvds when boon-docking -thus the solar power. I need to do some research still, but I figure, in retirement, get the (rv) you want, that fits your needs and style... needs change but price and storage are big factors! Thanks again for reply.
