❤🤍💙 God Bless all of our troops and Vets. Special blessings and a thank you to all the Vietnam Vets since this was one song that had a very special meaning to our Troops and those of us growing up back then.

Yep, 60’s and 70’s. You can enjoy every type of music and not have a favorite genre. I would listen to pop, country, rock, folk……. I like what I like.

Marmalade are a Scottish pop rock band from the 60's. "Reflections Of My Life" was their biggest hit. They also did a version of the Beatles' song "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" which was very popular. Other songs were "Baby Make It Soon", "Rainbow", "My Little One", "Cousin Norman", "Radancer" etc.

Dean Ford, the singer recently passed after re-recording the song. It was like he came full circle recording it as a young man and then as an older man. It was sad to see him record it because the listener knows he is near the end of life. Dean was able to go back to his old home. Rest in peace Dean and thank you for the great music that you and Marmalade provided. 🙏❤️

If you have a chance do a youtube search for "Reflections of My Life, Dean Ford with Joe Tansin". Dean Ford is the singer of Marmalade and co-wrote this song. He re-recorded it with Joe Tansin (singer and guitarist with a band called Badfinger) 46 years after the original release. Very nice redo. Thanks for your reaction to this video.

Yes , I love this song Stan. Another one of theirs that I like a lot is "Loving Things". It is more up tempo, and is a lot of fun to listen to. They also did a great version of "Hey Joe"

I remember riding to the lake when I was about 4 years old and this song playing on the radio in my mom’s car. I am 60 years old and can remember it like it was yesterday.

Memories like that can be really precious can't they? I'm 65 and I remember when my oldest sister bought a new 1968 Chevy Malibu We all piled in and rode around enjoying her new car. Hey Jude came on the radio and even though I was only 9 years old I really loved listening to it. I treasure that memory because of good times with my family and because of that beautiful song Thanks.

I think it was a build up from the 60s , peaked in the 70s and 80s and fell apart with todays noise.

Try listening to Eve of Destruction by Barry McGuire. Great anti war song during Vietnam era. Lot of passion in his voice.

Stan, this is such a timeless song that has aged like a fine wine. Please check out this link for the same song sung by an older Dean Ford decades after the original release. Back in the day... no one actually played live on TV... it was rare. This video is probably the same, a lot of shit was piped in. That said, an amazing studio song! You want to hear studio like live, listen to Elvis.
