Boy, Gibbons Creek sure has changed over the years! The warm water discharge use to be the best place to fish during the winter when the power plant was operating. I still go to the RV park with my grandparents to camp! Lots of my younger memories were made on that lake! Seeing you and Ms Chris fishing together in the old days sure made me smile! How is the fishing there now? In North Texas in the early 80’s we had a power plant lake built. It was killer. It seems like it was a few years before they turned the power plant on. And of course it is a totally totally different lake. Not for the better IMHO. A lot would disagree. So tell me. How is the fishing on Gibbons today? Or I should say in the winter. Because in August is probably pretty hard to buy a bite.
