Probably one of my all-time favorite backup plugins and by far the easiest to use, particularly if you’re having to restore a complete eCommerce site without fear of loosing critical customer data providing you have the scheduling of the backup for that type of site is correct!

Took a while for me to warm to this... mainly due to the interface/UX etc.. it was a little messy. But it's improved so much now! Best part for me is pairing this with MainWP and managing the settings, cloud storage and backup success lists in one spot. such a time-saver!

wpvivid really works well for domain to domain migrations. warning auto migration sometimes doesn't work well if the one of the hosting is shit. but no wories you may upload your migration backups manually to the new domain.

This is pretty good. I use Updraftplus for ad-hoc backups, in addition to hosting backups and am very happy with that, but this has now perked up my interest. I think Paul (WPT) uses this one too.

Thanks, I have another question, if you have several plugins who need an update, are you updating them all as bulk at once or have you even activated "auto update" ? Im updating the plugins always one by one because Im too scared of a white screen, this happened to me once, long time ago. Is WP nowadays more stabile and would you recommend to click on update for all plugins automatically or even activate auto-update?

I update one by one, but some are set to Auto-Update like Rankmath or Optimisation Plugins. EL and EL Pro are not auto-update. I try to keep my sites lean with as few plugins as possible to remove any possible issues.

I used WPVivid to backup a website on one host to a second host and another domain name. I uploaded the backup to the new domain and restored. I changed my DNS nameservers and works. But what do I need to change with regards to the domain name change? SSL certificate?

All good and perfect for smaller websites. I have though hit a block. Trying to restore a site that is fairly big and the restore stalls at 83%. Have you got a way to solve this please. Would be very grateful

How big is the website? Are we talking about 10GB?

A good video would be "Oh, your website is gone? Here's how to recover". If you have incremental backups as well, this isn't as simple as it could be. But let's say you actually lose every file and database table on the site... BUT you have a full or incremental backup. How does recovery take place? Would be a great addition to this

I always had that question. On those "in wordpress" backup services / plugins, what happens if site is totally broken (no access to dashboard) or if all files are totally deleted? How do you restore on those cases?

That's where I pray that the backup is fine, and you can do a fresh WP Installation and then import.

When I add a new post or edit blog designs on the site, the backup copy will change directly through the daily schedule mode, and also when I restore it will only update the last copy, is that correct? and thank you for this vedio

Can you migrate from the staging site to the main site? I had a customer recently who had a website that was awful but wanted the domain all the content keeping. This would of been ideal for that if you can.

Yes, it's good, but I don't understand why there are so many special files to download when downloading instead of just one zip file, and sometimes it conflicts with the plugin specifically "hide wp login" so it doesn't want to connect to Google Drive.

Sadly, doesnt have webdav support, and no db encryption for remote location in the free version. In my opinion, you should not save client data into the cloud without encryption.

Sadly this amazing plugin does not work with Elementor Cloud Hosting. This is the message I saw when I tried to install it: Incompatible plugin: This plugin is not supported on Elementor Cloud.
