see this is a perfect example of why Danny and Arin are better than Jon and Arin. Jon would spend the whole time humping the ground and saying OMG ARIN HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT? Danny stayed to himself and tried to do hilarious stuff on his own and actually learned without being told how to play and they had some fun antics within the game itself. Overall I feel as though Danny and Arin get along better than Jon did on this show.

Its all different preferences. Danny and Arin are great because they have that "Peanut butter and jelly" bond. They mix well together. On the other hand, Arin and Jon worked great because they were friends who were constantly bickering with each other but didn't hate each other (at the time?). I like Jon and Danny, they each bring a different atmosphere with them.

Look at all of the One Off shows they mostly feature Jon. Arin and Jon are lazy. Both combined they are super lazy. That's why they never completed games. They just would start something and stop it because they got bored of it or they got stuck. Notice how Danny pushes Arin to complete games. It's not that the show was DESIGNED to be a one offs type of show, it doesn't work like that to begin with anyways. The show should be about the journey and the stories told while in the gameplay. THAT is what Game Grumps is. Not just two dudes sitting on a couch trying to put on an act. With Jon it was like they were forcing things and Jon constantly said "STOP DOING THAT ON MY SHOW!" like he's trying to put on a persona or play a character. With Danny it's like "oh hey, let's play this dumbass game and see what happens." with Jon it was like "HEY WELCOME TO GAME GRUMPS WE ARE YOUR HOSTS EGORAPTOR AND JONTRON WE WILL BE ENTERTAINING YOU FOR THE NEXT 10 MINUTES."

Bobby Ewing Grumps rarely complete games. And if you want to bring that up to debate, the longest playthrough which is Sonic 06, was completed in Jon's era.

ISeenACar87 yeah but that's only because each video was getting huge amounts of views. This made them realize "oh we can actually serialize these games and get massive views" There were series that went on just as long in the jon era, Zombies Ate My Neighbors is another example of a long series from Jon and Arin. But it's nowhere near as entertaining as Danny and Arin's Super Mario Sunshine playthrough or even the various Castlevania games Danny has been part of. Jon and Arin TRIED to complete games but were just too bad at them *Ala Castlevania III and Castlevania I* Danny reserches stuff and makes Arin finish shit regardless of how bad they are at the game. Jon just rage quit most games.

Eh, they do from time to time add a few more minutes, but I don't think they do it on purpose. I'm all for longer episodes then those 10-11 minute ones. But they do put at least 2 episodes a day so it's alllllllll good ;)

Don't get your hopes up, they're doing 15 minutes for Wind Waker because 10 minutes just isn't long enough for a Zelda game, and one-offs have always been allowed to go over the 10 minute limit. Either way, I do agree that it's nice to see those longer numbers. :)
