Johnny Bellar ... no finer talent in the world ... makes me emotional when I hear this man play music ... because it comes from a place high above .. his gift is so special ... thank you Johnny for giving the world's people your music. Your heart & soul shine through this piece of wooden earth ...this angelic instrument .... making the most beautiful sound when you hold it. I am amazed at the sounds you achieve. You are truly a special musician and I am, your lifelong fan.

This is seriously one of the finest versions i´ve heard of "Amazing grace".. The sad part is that i am probably going to try to pick this version for another ten years or so before i even get close :-(. I had a really bad argumental closer with my fiancee this evening, and somehow i always get by a little in my own self by playing amazing grace... Don´t get wrong, i am not a christian man my self, nor in soul or beliefs. I´d probabably be heathen if religion would be involved, due to my scandianavian swedish background. BUT! This song, tune and melody has always done for me, As in sadness, happiness and lucky moments... This one i cherished :-)

+P-a Svedin Amazing how in our most vulnerable moments we can obtain comfort from music in what ever form it comes and how music affects individuals separately according to our own emotional content at any given time. Glad you find solace in this tune regardless of your spiritual orientation... "Be Blessed My Friend"

From one heathen to another, this is one hell of an instrumental. This song, tune, and melody has always done it for me, as in sadness, happiness, and lucky moments. , As Jackson Browne would say , " I,m going to take you there".

Is not "solace" one of the most wonderful, meaningful., and one of the most quietly powerful words ever? It means comfort or consultation in the time of distress or sadness and "more than that".

What is it about being Scandinavian that makes you feel like you are a heathen and not capable of receiving the gift of humility or religion..What does Scandanavia have to do with it, if you dont mind my asking.

There's a couple of others on you tube that have posted Johnny's version and made it look like it was Duane Allman . Don't know if it was intentional or not.

Johnny Bellar,.... I enjoy lessoning to you play your steel guitar. I hear it when your play that it comes from your heart, and I am glad I found you on you tube. I've always wished to play the guitar as good as they get, but I could never commit long enough to it. Well that's why some are great and some don't make the break...... mule skinner looked like it was a lot of fun you were having, first time I ever heard of mule skinner but after watching you doing it what great times you must of had......... thanks MK
