When I was in my early 20s, I had a friend whose thought I could read intuitively when she was around me and vice visa. It was like our minds melted into one. It was uncanny! I loved her so much that I still think of her daily after 40 years. Occasionally, I could read others but not as consistent as I did read her. @@Helios601 - a search turns up some unsavory opinions of him. I don't mean to spread unfounded rumors but there is an extensive web site for survivors. I have an uncanny sense for sniffing out the ones who are not the real deal and my initial vibe is heading in that direction. I would just caution people to be careful. Not all gurus have your best interest in mind. It can take time to find that out. However after listening to Sadhguru now for several years I have no doubts that he is the real deal in every aspect of what a real Guru or spiritual teacher should be. He will not be the one to do the old guru screw you routine simply because he is totally authentic and lays everything out without any bias other than to tell the truth and not just spewing platitudes that people like or want to hear. Just a few thoughts.

It is worth noting, of Freud, that he was practical in this approach to a clinical environment. If you are ill, your bones are hurt, an orthopedist or a family physician can examine the problem. I am not a magician, but the way the magic dude was moving his hands was suspect. He also didn’t let anyone inspect the book. I would imagine he had ink or a way to imprint the page number and first word on his finger or hand, then he reads and memorizes it. He picked those two (number and first word) because of the location on the book. He could get them both imprinted in one swipe. You will see him rub the area of the page number and first word. Then strangely move his hands around his face. Then strangely see him rubbing his fingers and hands together multiple times to rid himself of the evidence. Lots of hand movements and talking to keep the audience distracted. Sadhguru seems to be aware as he said the magicians ability is to distort the audiences perception.
