I feel the same way. My father died and i kept his overcoat, a few jackets, and shirts. I smile when I see them, because I think he's near me and it brings me comfort. I never feel negative energy from his clothes, only wish he could come back. 😔

I use my stepfather's tools. I have 3 generations of his families carpentry tools. My stepfather lives through my hands and everything he taught me. I recently buried my father's ashes. I throw the things he gave me away. He was full of himself. 2 people were at his burial. Volunteer fire departments and the entire town attended my stepfather funeral. My narcissist father will be soon forgotten. My stepfather's selflessness and community service will be remembered in our home town history forever! At your funeral, they talk about what you did, and about the things they owned. Things are reserved for the greedy. Greed is a deadly sin and he'll is on earth.

I understand what he speaks. I kept all my mothers belongings, I use it all in my home. When I mourned her very badly I knew I was not in a high vibrational space I knew I was weak and vulnerable and I was experiencing some subtle negative energy. But i would see my mother in my dreams very vividly and I would cry and cry she would never look at me but she would sit close. She was very warm to the touch and was always dressed in the clothing I had kept. But she would always tell me stop crying you need to stop or I will not come anymore. I went to church one day a healing mass to be exact and I cried all I could. It to me a week to feel different again. I prayed in that week. I felt new, happy. This like deliverance and you can't understand me if you never had the same experience or don't believe, I sound like a nut to you. My vibration was high even my eye color changed to a bright green. One day I had a very vivid dream and it lasted what felt like all night. I delivered my mother to the gates of heaven. It was beautiful beyond words. I drew my dream when I woke up. But I am a firm believer in all good and that evil does exist. Because now that I sit and think, when I was mourning her very badly I was at my worst in every negative aspect. And evil feeds off of that. It needs a vessel. but life is beautiful endure it. I am currently writing a book of my visions and experiences. I knew a very kind woman , the Mother of a family friend.. who I was fortunate enough to know for a decade or so... she "passed' at 103 years of age, & was fully cognitive up until the day she left this world. At her funeral there were a number of her " personal possessions" to take at the door.......I immediately took a crystal carved elephant, ( I later found out she loved elephants). It holds pride of place next to the photo taken on her 100th birthday on my PUJA table.

The energy that has stayed behind in my beloved’s clothing contains only love and comfort. He gives the message that they are only “stuff” and not to put importance on them. It is said that memories are only good if they bring you joy. If they cause sadness or anger, they need to be released to set you free. 55 years ago, after he had been killed in the Vietnam War, I would hold his tee shirt on my face and breathe through it hoping that some of his cells would enter my body and remain there. Foolish? Maybe, but it was a way to deal with his absence. Now, that he is closer to me than ever, I no longer need physical attachments but the tee shirt is tenderly folded in my dresser drawer.

I cannot believe someone we loved will come back in a negative energy. I have my Mum's clothes & kitchenware which I use. My Mum comes in dreams in the most beautiful way with messages when I need an answer.
