So Nepalis running 'Indian' restaurant in Japan; like the Bangladeshi's managing 'Indian' restaurants in UK (London). As an Indian I am proud but I hope they would add their own unique dishes to the menu. How about some Nepalese Dal, Bhat, Tarkari and achar in the menu.

Ah - in Helsinki (Finland) the Nepalese restaurants are proud to be Nepalese instead of portraying to be Indian. It's said, that we have an oddly large amount of Nepalese restaurants compared to the size of our city and country in general. I'm not complaining, they tend to be quite lovely.

As an Indian living in the US, I have experienced that some of the Indian restaurants are owned by Nepali family or Bangladeshi family. But trust me the food is authentic and one won't be able to tell that it is not cooked by an Indian. You won't believe me, once I travelled to Minneapolis and Indian restaurant was run by Ethiopian women and the food was delicious. I judged them based on how good daal they made. I eventually enquired them and they told me that the restaurant is owned by an Indian guy but all the employees are Ethiopian women. So basically he taught them good! haha!

In India we believe in making sure that guests eat to their hearts content and not just to fill their stomach. So most of the Indian thali which is actually based on home cooked food have large quantities to make sure you never leave the table with half a stomach.

That second hand shop looked interesting. We have lots of these shops in the UK and mostly they are run by charities. I used to work in one that raised money for a local cancer hospice and I used to come home most days with bags full of books, clothes and little trinkets that I liked the look of (especially tea light holders - I'm always looking out for something unusual to put my Yankee Candles into). A lot of people think these shops are full of rubbish (garbage) but you don't have to look too hard to find some really nice things. And I've always believed that one man's rubbish is someone else's treasure.

You guys are so sweet, humble, respectful and open to different cultures, but then I guess that is most of the Japanese. Thanks for the amazing content. Also one thing I have observed, which is pretty common, is that the Indian restaurants largely in East Asian Countries are handled by Nepalese and hence people find the food to be mostly not authentic, however the food in the video looked decent despite of the probable owner or chef being Nepali. (No offence to any community, love and respect for Nepal as much as for any other country) I believe the food tasted great too even if not exactly the same.
