Shinichi, there's a bakery on the Big Island, I think in Mountain View, that makes Stone Cookies. I've never had them but I would see a lot of people buying it for omiage or personal consumption. So I think that hard bread is not that uncommon. My guess it was easy to travel with in years past and was probably dipped in hot tea or coffee or even slowly melted in the mouth to make it last longer.

I’ve had these and the French toast at 7-Eleven quite a few times while I’ve been in Japan. Perfect with a canned or fresh brewed coffee for a quick breakfast.

Egg omelet may have flour so I'd throw the egg away, then have it. Spam is gluten free! Here we like the smoky turkey spam musubi😊

Thank you for clarifying that you are not being sponsored it’s such a great thing to do with a glowing review 😊. That lemon ramen looks unbelievable and I can’t believe the price. Here in Toronto that would be a $40+ usd dish. Amazing

Thank you for sharing this gem. I was in SF when I saw your review. And today I just happened to be in the area and I really wasn’t expecting much but wow that was a damn good Tsukemen- it was as very transformative experience for me!

Easy to make! We use the smoky spam and lightly fry the spam slices first so they have a bacon style crunch. Yum

Great video! The “New Yorker” Sandwich is nothing like you’d get in NYC. With the fries on it, I’d say it’s more like a Pittsburgh sandwich.
