In our last video • Nagannu Island - Must ... , we did a room tour of our super comfy and spacious suite in Naha and vlogged on our day trip to Nagannu Island.
In this video, we will show you another popular remote island called Tokashiki, some delicious foods we had in Naha, and last but not least, the super cute and chilled Senaga Island!

You can only make reservations no more than 2 months ahead.
You will only need to pay for the tickets before embarking on the ferry. Be sure to go to the Tomari Port maps.app.goo.g...
at least 15-30 minutes before departure time to pay and claim your tickets.
⛴️ We bought the regular ferry which departs at 10am from Tomari and arrives Tokashiki Port at 11:10. The return time is 4pm.
❗Be sure to bring your passports with you!
As mentioned in the video, you have the option to take buses or taxi to Aharen beach when you arrive at Tokashiki. BUT, keep in mind that there is only one taxi (a passenger van) on the entire island and you have to ask the staff at the ferry port to call the taxi! (No Uber or DiDi)
The taxi driver was a nice lady who shared some interesting info with us along the way (through Google translate). She was there at the drop-off spot to pick people up around 3pm back to the ferry port. It was a first-come-first-serve so if you want to catch her taxi on the way back, be sure to show up at 3pm on time!
🤿 🏖️ Aharen beach - there are umbrella, beach chair, and snorkeling rentals. You have to wear a life jacket if you snorkel. We brought our own snorkel gears and inflatable vests so we didn't do the rental.
There are sea glasses and pretty shells on the beach as well!
There are vending machines, food stands, shower/change facilities next to the beach.
