Currently my build space happens to be wherever I am. Primarily I use my bed for my workspace since it's convenient, however I also take my kits down to a local bar arcade I hang out at. I build there so frequently the owner and I are trying to setup our own build night there.

Those are envy worthy workbench setups! I use a six feet long table, a third of it is where my PC sits and the rest is for model assembly plus short term storage area.

Man I love every single workbench in this video. I really got to get to work on my work bench for real for realz. I was working down in my gym/work office which is fairly large. But there ain't no TV down there like you said, got to have something in the background. So I just started a little side table and a workout ethos jump box and started building up in the living room. So I could be near the kids and family. And if I work in my office which is a gym the kids tend to come down there and try to hit the punching bag and they make a lot of noise. This is perfect for ideas and blueprints on work benches / workspace. Thanks for your help.

I have my spray booth set up on a desk in my laundry room so I can run the exhaust through the dryer vent. Gunpla builders tend to be resourceful. 😆

I have been modeling since 7yr old. Took a break due to school and work issues later on. Now at 57 it would be almost impossible to achieve any form of perfection without optical assistance . The work benches in 🇯🇵look identical to mine here in the US including the magnifying glasses . Never built any Gunpla kits. However, I might give it a go. Aircraft, armor and figures are my main builds. Of course , almost exclusively 🇯🇵Tamiya!

Actually I don't have a work bench, I am living on top of my shop, and my bedroom is full of item stocks for my shop. no way I can fit in a table and a chair in it so my setup: 1. portable laptop table with cutting mat on top of it (important since the table has fan build into it, so it helps to cover that) 2. 3 plastic boxes that I bought from daiso to store my equipments and paints and that's it, I sit on the ground with my back leaning towards my bed and with pillow to support my back (if not it will get hurt in like 2 hours). I have very bright lamp on the top of my head, like directly on top of my head I usually put my all of my kits into a room (not my bedroom), which is just for me and my collections. it is full of boxes (of finished, half finished, and brand new kits) right now, but one day, I will rearrange it (yeah one day, been like that for 2 years now lol). my airbrush painting setup is on my shop, it is portable, just a carton box + air brush / spray can. the shop is very open so I don't really have any machine to suck the fumes out, I wore gas mask everytime I paint my kit. my only complaint about it, since it is open air and I live in Indonesia which is very humid, the paint result had been very inconsistent

If it was just normal paint, the results is fine, but for high gloss paint, the dryer helps alot because when paint heat up, they harden and stay shinnier
@AwesomeToysTV5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info ! We haven't tried using a dish dryer before
@dsleong83285 жыл бұрын
Actually the same effect can be replicate, those selling chicken rice or economic rice, they use those warm light bulb, try them for any of your high gloss or candy finish kit, you'll be amaze how much shinny they become if compare with just normal drying surface without heating
